 what a nice & up close picture of the king of percussions! lol  Sola is daaa man! one of the best percussionist ALIVE!   he's sooo focused & in-tuned with the music! :2hop:

i'm NEVER, NEVER EVER going to forget his solo performance performed at wembley arena 2002! simply amazing & TRULY unforgettable!

do you know the name of the song, sunny? he's singing in yoruba right?  damn, i DISLIKE the fact, my parents NEVER taught me this language!! ggrrr...lol.

Sorry, I do not know the name of this song, I do not know the language either and I have not got time to look on Sola's site to check if there is any info on this.
Queen, do you mean that your family originates from Nigeria too?
I am not versed into local african music but I like this style, especially the part you mentioned:

Yes my parents are from Nigeria & yes i still dislike the fact my parents NEVER taught me & my twin sister yoruba! quite a few of my friends speak yoruba & they always tease me & speak yoruba in my presence, just to irritate me! *sniff* *sniff*

aahh...yes! well me myself, have been listening to african music, for quite a while now, with the help of my father! some include: francis awe, adewale ayuba, general kollington ayinla, king wasiu ayinde marshal, sunny ade, osita osadebe ......etc.
thanx again, for posting the link, to listen to Sola's track! me cannot get enough of it! lol
