Hello Jamirotalkers,
Wow! I'm news!!
This friend told me that we might hear 5 or 6 tracks, and perhaps the video, but she isn't sure about that. I'm not sure either.
But you know, I'll try to do the best I can, trying to get something, listen the songs carefully to give you a good review of them. I doubt I'll get the sampler, or if they will give only one, I don't know.
I really don't know, I haven't been in a pre-release of an album, so this is my very first time. Thanks for all the words and wish me good luck!

Hello again,
Yep, as I figured as much, D is getting to hear the 1st Dynamite Sampler that came out, but what also surprises me is it is in Argentina ! I thought the sampler was only isolated in the UK wing of Sony/BMG for the time being....oh man, I hope one surfaces in the States soon! Anyhoo, enough with my pipe dreams, good luck D, I have been to a few listening parties in the past (1 Jamiroquai one back in 1999 for Synkronized), it will be lots of fun and plenty of ladies for you turn on that "Male Model Diego Charm" too...Hehe! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

Well, I guess judging from some of the posts, Rob Harris' guitar rock has turned Jay Kay into a headbanger. Now all we need is a drum set thrashing on stage a la The Vines and we'll be set.
Diego, that's pretty cool stuff. Keep us informed, will ya? Gracias. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. I just can't help smiling like a Jamirofool when I read your posts.
It's the lunacy that bonds us !!!
Catman's cha cha, and Diego's prowess, and JF2K's wit and wonder !!!
Well, I am definately not a head banger . . .
. . . but . . . *** blushes as she confesses *** I do - to an MP3 recording of Soul Education (from the end of SE) into the beginning of Deeper Underground. It's serious stuff, and 'refined' for rock.
With all this rock that Dynamite promises we are going to have to up our stamina, who else is in aerobic fitness training for the concerts of 2005 ???

I will be anticipating Diego's report with relish.
It just goes to show how important Jamiroquai in lands far from the broken pavements of Ealing.
Could anyone imagine such an event for fans in Britain, it's embarrassing how negligent the homeland is of the Cosmic Kings of Acid Jazz.
I am very apprehensive about the proportion of rocky-style-stuff on Dynamite.
Surely, research managers and promotional managers would have guided them to consider that we need to be our basic meat and two veg of classical old skool original style Jamiroquai.
I will be physically ill and mentally devastated if there is all new stuff and nothing tangible from our roots on Dynamite.
I will put my seat belt back on keep a handful of analgesics in the glove compartment of my BDC. |

Well, long time since my last post but I'm back with hot news!
I'm just back from the meeting at Sony-BMG. There I met Diego, Merlina, Leti, Pablo and Liliana. We went to a "conference room" and the girl from the company showed us the sampler containing 5 tracks. I had a recorder in my bag but I had to leave it before entering the room , so I tried to record some audio with my cell phone but something odd happened, I ran out of memory and the resulting file was empty . The CD was in a envelope with a security sticker with an inscription like "If you received this CD with the broken sticker go find who gave it to you", very paranoid...
1. Feels Just Like It Should: What else can I say... It's a shame that they have chosen it as the first single. All the time I'm thinking on Lenny Kravitz... And that annoying vocoder... Maybe the time will make it more "hearable".
2. Dynamite: WOW!!! That track was amazing!!! It gave me hope back, very funky tune. You gotta hear it!
3. Seven Days In Sunny June: Hmm.... Quiet song, It reminded me "You Give Me Something" because of the corny lyrics. Anyway I liked it.
4. Give Hate A Chance: THE TRACK! This would be a perfect first single! Very disco groove, the bass is amazing, I'm going to cry!!!
5. Black Devil Car: I don't know what happened here. Rob Harris again with those headbanger riffs, the guitar is powerful. Not my kind of jamiroquai prefered song. THE BREAK! In the middle the song turns very quiet and peaceful, with jay singing just like in a lullaby... And then the guitar starts again.
Ah, the first track will be in rotation in argentine radios from this monday. the girl at sony told us the video will be available maybe next week or the other... and we'll have another meeting to listen to the full album! |

Thanx to Abou
O Abou, thank you very very much for cheering me up. Although FJLIS doesn't sounds that bad to me after playing it for the 20st time, I didn't hope this was Jamiroquai's new style... But you made that thought disappear! _________________
