Hello,

Waiting about 4 years for new jamiroquai-stuff coming out, now I desperately want to hear something new, don't matter when. If it's this week or 20th June, I can't stand my curiousity. So I'll try to listen to the (web)radio if I have the opportunity for it and maybe I'll record some tracks. Electric Mistress and Seven Days In Sunny June have made me thinking more positive about the new album and maybe the other tracks will strengthen this feeling. I'll wait patiently (even if I'm not able to catch the songs!)

yeh, i agree with you
at last i'll buy the album, and will enjoy the songs as that is the first time i listen them...
the same happened with a lot of albums i bought...
and for me, only seven days in sunny june makes me think different about the new album...

I agree, listening to all the songs leaves no space for discovery, and besides, the lack of quality makes me say arrg! but still, I've got the 2 songs that have been around and just to give me an idea, still I'm off getting any more, I'm done till the album comes out here, I can't wait to buy it ASAP, (but first I gota wait for it to come out which means more waiting! <-- now how stupid is that phrase)

I loved SDISJ!

Im an American, so Im not too familiar with Capital FM, but it sounds like a big viable radio station that doesn't wanna fuck with the record companies that distribute it's music. Skooly is playin these songs legally I guarantee it. What he is doing is actually something that happens quite often. When a band has a highly anticipated album coming out, a radio station or even MTV will play many of the tracks off the albums.

If you guys are Eminem fans and you can think back a little bit, for his last 3 albums that he has come out with, MTV has had a big special show on each one of them that has had exclusive interviews with Eminem, as they play all the tracks, and pick apart his lyrics, rhymes, whatever, to see what he was thinking. So what Capital FM is doing is nothing new, and was probably suggested as a good P.R. (P.R.=Public Relations) move by Sony.

And remember, Capital FM isn't the one releasing the files to the net. People who are recording the songs from Capital FM are. At least they are still getting radio play in the rest of the world, Im skeptical that they will get any in the U.S, unfortunately. Im holding out hope though. Im thinking at most, they might only get airplay on mine and Pietro's favorite radio station: 89.3 the Current (just kiddin Pietro). A station more devoted to playing good music from foregin acts, indie bands, and classic hits. Clear Channel might not touch any song from this album with a 10 foot pole.

One last thing: I try to be with you guys in saying that I can resist anything else that they put out this week or whenever before the album is released. But in all honesty, I can't. If the songs are available for download, I will listen to them, and with excitement! I will buy the album anyway, (I always do, I was never a napster/kaazaa,etc pirate) but the element of surprise will be gone. Are you sure you guys can honestly resist too? More power to you if you can, but Im just bein honest with myself. So maybe it will be a good thing if there is no one that records the songs this week. Think about this angle too: You're listening to Skooly's shows this week waiting to hear the new songs, and you do, but no one records them. So you've heard them once, but then you gotta wait more than a month to hear them again. That's some serious flirtin lol!

They should've just thrown the album on "The Leak" at the MTV website or something...I've based a few of my music purchases off that.

I'll listen to the songs too, I can't resist! And about the surprise which will be gone:
The difference isn't that big: being surprised now or in 2 months, the feeling remains the same.

I'm gonna try and tune in on my FM radio, not over the web because the saound quality is slightly better on the radio.

But anyway, I have no intensions of recording anything. I think it'll be good to have a listen to some of the new stuff and to have more of a good idea of where the album is going, but the chances are that I wont hear the tracks again untill about the same time as the album comes out, so it'll be a good teaser.

I'm sure most (well all) of you lot want to hear the new material, i sure do.
But its up to you wether you choose to wait or not.

Maybe he'll play a song in the last hour. I think so. Hopefully not EM, FJLIS or SDISJ!

Smile I'm presently sitting here listening to the 2nd hour of Schooly's Monday show, I'm hopeful he will play 1 out of the 5 new Dynamite songs today Smile. If not today, there's always tomorrow! Keep listening and Peace!

If you leave your pc on, you can record the whole show and then cut the new track out Wink All you need is about 400-500 mb free space Laughing
