Hello Jamirotalkers,
I like the fact that they're back to the original font used for both names (Jamiroquai and Dynamite) and is good that people start relating Jamiroquai to the figure of Jay, cause what happened during TWM in the US was that when he was on TV, they were 'who's that?' (the only reference they had was the buffalo man(dyego) |
I agree. Maybe that's the goal: to relate the name
"Jamiroquai" to the front man. I see nothing wrong with that.

You're taking the thoughts out of my head! Many a time, I've considered leaving this board because I just can't take the criticism that some people churn out at every new Jamiroquai song/performance/appearance. I have never seen this on any other forum for any other band, and it's sometimes really upsetting.

Hey, Moonshooter, I liked your post and agree with it 100%.
By defending Jamiroquai, it doesn't mean that you or me ADORE everything J has ever done. We're merely pointing out that this is a great band that never seems to please some fans. Ever. Curiously. |

Totally right...
Well at the moment nothing is going to make me doubt the quality of the new album, which is the most important thing
And look at my sig, doesn't that say it all? _________________

That's a fantastic signature! It makes me beam like a child in a toy shop. I just can't wait for the new cd. I'm sure there'll be several outstanding tracks on it. As always.
Take care! |

I wanna share this feeling too
I did't mean to insult anybody. Please, don't get me wrong people. I am in Moonshooter and Cesar team. It's not really good come to this forum to see the sad words of these fans.
We really should express our thoughts, but we need to realise that we are in a international jamiroquai forum. What happens if 4 post something good about Jamiroquai, but 20 want to emphasize the negative side of things? Of course, there's a problem here. And Jamirobeto is right, we need do express what we think. But sure we can't say this or that here because we want (criticize everytime). It's Jamiroquai we are talking about. The best funk band ever. Why not be satisfied? And the critics are frequently here. We have to know how espress ourselves. I almost read every post here, want to hear great messages from you.
Thank you! _________________ You've got to stand up, stay strong, now! |

I can't believe my eyes.
If you see the tag on the top of your navigator window it reads "Jamirotalk: International Jamiroquai Fan Discussion Forum", and what I understand of that is the fact that we may have different opinions, and this is the place to share them. Most of us are long time fans, so what's the problem on writing our visions of the new material? I don't chew glass (like we say in Argentina), and if I don't like a tune or a video, that's no reason to point me as a traitor. I can imagine Jay singing tango, and most of you approving it just because it goes out with the "Jamiroquai" label.
Personally, I was a little disappointed when I heard FJLIS and saw the video, that was an abrupt change in the music they were doing before. But when I had the chance to hear the full album I understood the idea of the band, to reach other audiences with the single release, a real innovation in their compositions.
When I saw the label for the first time, I thought it was a previous picture, in black and white just for the pre-orders. Maybe the album art hides a great design inside... I won't judge the material just because the picture, and even better, after hearing the whole album, which I enjoyed a lot! _________________

AGUANTE ABOU!
Yeah, i totally agree Abou, wtf, I mean, we're here to express opionions, say, we ain't a utopic society for us to have a wonderful veiw of things and share the same interests and likes, I mean, life ain't pink, if u hate my posts cos they're part of the "negative vibe", avoid my comments,
I'm always gonna point on the good and bad things, unfortunately, bad news sperad fast..faster than good, so wehen I get my hands on the album i'll point out the good and the BAD, I ain't here to express what u want to read, I'm here to express what I want as long as it's inside the rules, remember, it's a forum.
Not always a criticzisim means bad ok?
Btw I pointed out sometime ago that maybe JK was planning to sell more copies by placing his face on the cover, as most peeps think JK = jamiroquai, if that makes sony happy and the cd full of good vibes, then I'm into that |

I know, I've been thinking the same. Specially EOPE, it was so simple and inside there were lots of colours and a great drawing of the band.
But, back to the subject... OK, nothing to add really.
