I would agree with all those songs, except for HIGH TIMES and COSMIC GIRL. I think the latter is really a little too disco for the unique sound of a digeridoo.
Immediately after the question about the other songs, CORNER OF THE EARTH stuck out in my mind. I think the song could use less of the orchestration and more didg! Where is Wallis??????????
Oh, by the way, I LOVE THE J.K. mix of WYGL. It's available for download at http://www.groovyfunkyjazzy.mp3.ms , but for some reason when I tried to download it (I tried twice) it wouldn't work. Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, how do we get in touch with the webmaster?
Cheers. |

When I mentioned didge on cosmic girl and high times this was what I thought:
In cosmic girl, it'll be played at the "sends me in the hyperspace" part.
in high times, I think it should be played along with the bassline (and a good bassline it is indeed). I heard a recording the song performed live in montreux jazz festival and nick used a wah pedal. it sounded a little like a synthisized didge _________________

I love the Montreux version of HIGH TIMES! It's one of my favorite tracks. I'm afraid I didn't notice that wah wah pedal, though.
Speaking of High Times live (and Space Cowboy, and Cannabliss, and Soul Education, for that matter), I love the calm, free-jam middle sections of the live songs. Why can't there be some studio work like that? When Jay improvises the words I can't get enough.
Anyway, back to the didg question...... |

Aboriginal pictures..
Hello again, :bm_r:
Thanks for the usual nice compliments Queen of Funk & Didgin, I thought that pic I found would be perfect for my last post. For your knowledge extension, I found that picture on Google, and lots of more great Didgeridoo pictures, just click over to www.google.com and click on "Images" and type "Didgeridoo" in the search window to view them. I'm adding some more cool didgeridoo pics I found while noozin' around the net to this post, hope you like them ! Thanks for listening and the usual props to CosmicMouse & Bear! Peace and take care!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Did you know there's a little thing called e-mail?, grooving@mp3.ms
P.S -- Did you notice that server thing on the home page? You might be trying to download at times when the server is not running... _________________

Thanks smellbob.....when I wrote that previous message he still had his NEW YEAR'S MIX on the site, and his e-mail address was not available on the site. I since have found it and have contacted him, but thank you. The problem is more complicated than the server.......and he can't help me rectify the problem.
Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? |
