To sum it all up....

Perhaps Nick felt it was time....Time to go out and do his own thing regardless of whether it's accepted or not. I won't say successful because success is perceived by the individual trying the reach their personal goal. He obviously felt that his time with Jamiroquai was at its conclusion and has moved on. Again just my opinion

If that's true, then I say this: Nick, don't nagg, you were a "no-one" before Jamiroquai. No offence though.

Yeah I agree, I dig both Mr Zender & Mr Fyffe - but come on bass playing brethren, we are the heavy artillery we ain't 'on point'.

At least not in a funk band anyway, maybe if you're one of those Ed Friedland types (he's awesome too, by the way).

The grass is greener on the other side.

But it's really a pitty he left. I love his bassline on "Love foolosophy", it makes the song really worth it.

Which song is it you're comparing to? 'When you gonna learn'? Isn't it Stu playing on this? Or is it the so-called 'original acid jazz demo'? I'd thought it was the other way around...

/G3

the bassplayer on wygl is bnh's player andrew levy.
