New FJLIS remix by Mark Ronson! Who?
Feels Just Like It Should was remixed by Mr. Mark Ronson.
"Stay tuned for the new Jamiroquai single Feels Just Like It Should, which should be making its way to dancefloors and charts over the next few weeks, in the lead-up to their forthcoming new album Dynamite. Anyways look out for an interview I did recently with the ‘cat in the hat’ in these pages in the near future. Meanwhile Mark Ronson has apparently completed a remix for the single which is great news for fans of Ronson…"

Apparently Mark Ronson is a dj that likes to break boundaries and experiment fusion various types of music. Read this:
"British born Mark Ronson has DJ'ed at parties for the likes of Donald Trump and New York's upper crust. His debut eastwest/Elektra album, Here Comes The Fuzz out on September 8th, is not so much about redemption as it is about evolution. It is the logical next step for the producer/songwriter/DJ who first made a name for himself as a genre-hopping DJ with an ear for culture-clashing mixes. The current single `Ooh Wee' entered the charts at number 8 last week" "Ronson’s resume is already propped up by some fairly weighty remixes for superstars such as Jay-Z, Outkast, Moby, Nelly Furtado and more. His stellar production work on the breakthrough Nikka Costa album turned the heads of record label A&R execs, who began to think of Ronson as an aural triple threat, someone who could write a song, produce it and remix it before he even went out for coffee in the morning."

Sounds cool...hope it's better than Timo Maas one! Although Timo's Remix is doing well in the charts...

Actually Mark Ronson isn't a bad DJ, he does a lot of callaborations with hip hop artists. I own one of his tracks "here comes the fuzz" which is a bumpin track....so he should do a good job remixing it. |

He's pretty good - he likes to use samples from other peoples music and write his own lyrics over the top.... a song using something from the Average White Band comes to mind. _________________ Bass Transcriptions coming soon! |

Well I think it's great.
Mark Ronson is one of the most respected hip hop producers of the last few years. He's worked with a range of artists from the Wu Tang Clan to Diplo and has enhanced the original productions each time.
I find it a shame when people react negatively because something doesn't conform to their expectations.

Emotions rice very easily on things like these. My reaction on this remix is negative, and my reactions regarding most of the remixes are mostly negative. For the record I've listened to this one many times.
Respects to the remixers of course. But generally, I don't get it.
