I bought mine right after work.  I phoned all main stores in town before, they all said, they have a big quantity of FJLIS singles there...they are selling quite good.
As cosmic mouse I was a bit disappointed, that the release is without video. Think I have to order the japanese or australian release too.
As for the scratches on jewel case...I love Jamiroquai...but I don't handle my cd's with "gloves" anyway. I hear them...they are spread over my place

I had the same problem regarding scratches on the cases and ended up buying the singles from two different shops (the same as you, as it happens).

Haha, what a coincidence
I was yoyoing up and down the town centre trying to decide which ones had the least scratches but I think I got a decent pair in the end

I got mine today, from the huge HMV store in the cbd... they had a whole shelf devoted to FJLIS singles, and there was a sign saying 'single of the week'
I went to the J section to see if they had the late night tales album under 'Jamiroquai' but for some reason all the jamiroquai albums have been replaced by an empty jewel case saying "coming soon - DYNAMITE" lol
i checked behind it and there was another empty case saying "just released - DYNAMITE" and another behind that saying "best seller - DYNAMITE"  clearly hmv is looking ahead  |

i think i will get mine in 2006... 
i realized it only yesterday that i've placed order for singles together with
vynil LP and cd album..
it means all items of this order will be sent in one package only on 20th of June..
a tragedy, or second victim as matej said.
its my fault |

Over here in Holland the release-date of the single is the 13th of June! That's the next monday! Silly country....

i finally got it, here the only version available is the "maxi" single,of white cover, it only includes the album version and both remixes of the song.
it's the first time i heard the album version and it's quite extrange, the new noises on the "rock rock yo" part are so weird but are ok.
the mark ronson remix is also quite weird but it's not bat at all (i expected more anyway) and the timo maas remix is not so good.
i can't understand why people don't do good remixes, i tihnk it's not that hard to do something audible and good, and more with the chance of doing a funkier version of a song with already quite much funky power on it waiting for someone who funks it up.
i quite dissapointed that the maxi single doesn't contain the video
anyway the thing that have shoked and dissapointed me more is the fact that theres no any credit about the writting or production of the song!!! 
only copyrights about sony,bmg and emi and their stupid logos. i think this is a kind of insult to the band, who is the one who must appear there (at least the writer or performers of the tracks) and not the fucking labels, it's clear that this kind ofsingles are mostly about industry more than music but they can at least hide it a bit, and give some credit and respect to the band wich is givin them the money
