Jay Kay will always be the Meister while Stuart Zender is just another musician... |
Well...don't wet yourself over it, but I really don't agree. Sorry dude.
Also, I've noticed a lot of negativity surrounding Stuart here...is that to do with the fact that Zender went to the tabloids (allegedly) about Jay?

No, that is not right. I think 90% feel quite positive about Stu and his work.
Anyway I think this is a lot of fuzz and fight about nothing really worth it. People find love and loose love...It is there personal history. I don't care about Stu'z private life and I think he would like to stay "incognito" with that things too, wheather they are true or not. Still he is a geat musician! _________________

Yeh, you're completely right. I just don't like the tabloids in general, it doesn't affect his musicianship in anyway.

but jay kay is only a singer...
he doesn't know to do something more than singing or dancing i think... and drive fast cars and smoke and consume drugs... in the other side, Stu had to learn and study a lot of chords and practice a lot to obtain his skills... i prefer to be a musician than being a singer... and i agree with so much things that Stu Zender says... i'm really a fan of this guy... he's just a great musician, not another musician... as you said... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

For me it always been like that, I mean I think Stu has as much charism as Jay...This guy has just something, more than talent...He's just a genious...read his biography and you'll understand! |

Well, yeh...but the rest of the Band have the input on what they do. Jay can't play keys, bass, drums, guitar, he can't write horn arrangements (although that doesn't matter these days). Jay isn't strictly a 'songwriter'. It's like Robbie Williams (sorry to compare the two). He may write some of his stuff, but he gets the credit for songs that were not all his ideas.

no way, can't play those intruments but can write melodies for all those intstruments, and he did and still do, and of course for the brass arrangement too,who do you tihnk have done the arrangements of the horns on dynamite?(aren't so much) he actually did the arrangement of most of the brass on the albums.
do you think is that different to write a voice melody from a brass or bass melody? you're under rating jay and you shouldn't _________________
