Hate Dynamite...
So far, I've heard nothing but praise from the fans, and criticism from the critics. Sorry guys, but in my very, very humble opinion, Jamiroquai have officially lost my vote. The new album leaves little to be desired. Great musicians playing what can only be described as incoherent noise, and I personally reckon their UK Record Sales will echo that (up until they release they release SDISJ).

I liked the old Jamiroquai. They had personality, funk and that's what got me hooked (as well as Zender's Basslines). There was band input from everyone.

I think Electric Mistress says it all about the new album. Distressingly cheesy and electronic beyond belief...the single worst Jamiroquai track I've ever heard.

Hurl all abuse here. I'm not trying to provoke a reaction, but I do want to see if any of you agree with me.

Sorry, I don't agree. Dynamite might be different, but it is still astonishing good for me. Anyway it is your opinion, which I respect.

But I think you should have placed your feelings under the topic Dynamites review, to discuss it with the others Wink

Well, I respect your opinion but takin Electric Mistress as an example of how the album sounds like is not right cause the flavour of the album is far apart from the sound of that track. Then about the magazine reviews you're a bit off cause Q's recommended the album and most reviews I've read were 4/5 stars...sure there's bad reviews, especially from critics who claim that Jamiroquai's albuns all sound the same! Rolling Eyes

This album is far better produced, played and sung than their last 3 albuns...and it's tackling various issues, not just love as some ppl claim...

Jamiroquai are definitely back!!!

And if you miss Stuart Zender's basslines you should be excited about this album: great basslines all over it! And the live shows will be great cause Paul Turner has great feel and funk in him! Wink

Give Dynamite a chance, listen without prejudice!

I believe you're mistaken, Stop Don't Panic is the worst Jamiroquai song ever released...not Electric Mistress

that's the only thing i agree with you in your post...
but i like the album, it could have been worse... i thought at the beggining a new Metallica-based album, and i was extremely wrong... i really don't like A Funk Odyssey, but this album makes a big difference... most of the tracks on Dynamite are so nice... time won't wait and talulah are great examples... electric mistress and feels just like it should (for me the most pathetic songs of the album) are only two of 12 songs the album brings.... the other are pure funk and party!!

Actually you're right...Hot Tequila Brown is the worst Jamiroquai track I've ever heard. Sorry, but in comparison with Stop Don't Panic I'd say give me Stop Don't panic every day...

I was kind of hoping we might be able to argue without the childish quips, but apparently not. Seeing as you don't even know me, it's pretty hard to comment on my choice of music, which spans.

I'd say if any other artist had released this Album, the percentage of this site would hate it. But it's Jamiroquai...
