"Seven Days" (Steve Mac RMX) on BBC Radio tonight!
Hello,
I didn't notice a post topic about this, but the Official Site today confirmed the "Seven Days" single release for August 15th in the UK and elsewhere . 3 remixes for the song (*Sighs at the mere thought of someone remixing "Seven Days") have been done according to the Official Site, the three are: Steve Mac, Oliver Lang and Ashley Beedle.
It also says that the Steve Mac Remix of SDISJ has been chosen to be played on Pete Tong's Show: The Steve Mac remix has also been chosen by BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong (LINK: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/petetong/index.shtml ) to be his "Essential New Tune" on Friday 8 July, which is tonight. Is anyone going to listen in and record this remix? I have a feeling that David Rowe will have it for download on the Funkin Site by late tomorrow, still hope that David's thought of it being one the best remixes he's heard in a while, but curious if anyone is going to listen out for it. Thanks for listening and let's hope this variation of the SDISJ remix does the original song justice ! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I can easily see myself driving to the beach with that remix. Sublime piece of work by JMQ and Mr. Mac _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. I thought it was okay, but it didn't really add anything to the original, which in my opinion is what a remix should do...
And after Jay talking about hating remixes, and how they ruin his original songs lately I was hoping we'd be getting some new material.
Oh well...I should stop being so ungrateful...
Should I? _________________

terrible mix, nothing unique, just some beats on the background and some effects (minor repetitions) of jay's voice..we need those high times, alright and sc remixers back |

yeh i agree with you... it's the same thing with the beatbox effect at the background... and the song more faster... that's easy... hehehe _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!
