Hello Jamirotalkers,
'Electric Mistress' is my favorite song in the whole album. But I'm not so sure of making it a single. I believe is going to happen the same like with 'Supersonic', I don't know. They should go with '(Don't) Give Hate A Chance'
I think is too soon to know which third single is gonna be.

Hey!
Well, following the release of Seven Days In Sunny June (such a chilled out tune), I'd love to see one of the more disco-style tracks be released...Dynamite, Starchild or (Don't) Give Hate A Chance. Electric Mistress could be a good choice too...I've been listening to the track alot more recently and I think they could be quite inventive with the remixes.

I think they make a mistake if they choose Electric Mistress for the 3rd single. I agree with Diego, this could be Supersonic 2.
In my opinion EM is a good song, but there are more interesting songs in Dynamite to be the 3rd single, like Don't Give hate a Chance or Dynamite if they want "feels good" disco groove or Tallulah if they want sweet lovely rhythm, but I don't think so, because SDISJ is also a little bit calmed! By the way, I think SDISJ will have success around the world, but not EM. Probably I'm wrong. |

I don't mind electric mistress...but ...I can really see Dynamite doing real well internationally especially in the U.S. (all 4 songs would do well) but this song is very catchy.... |

Hello,
I highly agree with you Abou, weird to see J picking Dynamite's singles nearly in sequential order of the album tracklisting . In regards to EM, I think it's a worthy 3rd single candidate, I mean, he went with the best Jami ballad since POML for the 2nd single, so you have to go with a dancer for the 3rd single to keep the dancefloors aglow. Still, will be interesting to see how the expected 1-2 remixes of EM turn out, probably the easiest Dynamite song to remix from my view. I'm still hoping GHAC will be the final and 4th single from Dynamite, would make a great closer for a amazing 6th album, though the most logical choice would be "Starchild". Oh well, thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I like Dynamite to be the 3rd single. _________________ - In a World without Walls and Fences, who needs Windows and Gates?

I think EM would make quite a good 3rd single, myself.
While we're talking about singles, I know some people who have heard SDISJ on the radio, and they are saying 'I can't believe this is the same band that made the crappy song FJLIS!' _________________ Fascist.

I think EM should be saved from the charts... Jamiroquai should release starchild or BDC but save the true goodness like (D)GHAC and EM for our listening pleasure _________________

Or maybe someone at sony designed the tracklist of the album minding the future roadmap for singles... bah!
I'd like to see Give hate a Chance as third single! _________________ I once had a 10 years of Travelling Without Moving celebrations banner here... |

Yeah, you're probably right. Jay has already said the the record company wanted (Don't) Give Hate A Chance instead of FJLIS for the first single...and that they didn't see Dynamite as a future single despite it being one of the standout tracks on the album (and Jay's favourite) _________________

Hi there,
Now that you bring this up, I remember Jay said somewhere that it was 'too soon to release (D)GHAC'. I bet is going to be either the 3rd or the 4th single.

Yeah, but don't get me wrong. If it wasn't for 'Supersonic' I may not be here. I didn't know of a band called Jamiroquai until I saw that video and heard that song. What I think is that they may win new fans with that song, like I did with 'Supersonic', but they should go for one good dance track (first single funk/rock, second single acoustic... (D)GHAC is the best choice and like someone said, leave Electric Mistress and Starchild for the ones who buy the record).
