Ahhh... I stayed until 4 am listening 3 full Chemical Brothers albums... I highly recommend a listen to 'Surrender'. Listen carefully all the sounds around each song, they are perfectly made. Key songs: 'Out Of Control', 'Music: Response', 'Got Glint?', 'Hey Boy Hey Girl'.

Hey!
My recommendation today goes to...
THE REBIRTH
Their debut album, "This Journey In", is simply amazing. What's more, I saw them perform live last night (with Stu'z ) at London's famous Jazz Cafe...they took my breath away (partly because I didn't stop dancing to their funky music for 2 hours, lol). If you ever get the opportunity to see them perform, do so! They're a 'must-see'!
You can view some of the perfomances from last night at http://e-funky.blogspot.com/ Nice work Jeremy!

Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
My favourite Hendrix tune - need to get my hands on the Woodstock recording, though. Makes me want to play the guitar with my tongue... umm.
Castles Made of Sand is also great... or Freedom (great car tune). _________________ funk you! |

Stevie Wonder's fever!!
On Sunday I bought Wonder's LP 'Talking Book' and 'In Square Circle'. I haven't heard them cause I don't have the player connected, but I will soon. So, yesterday I listened 'Original Musiquarium', and 'Characters'. He is THE MAN.

Wow, FunkEducation! I simply love your today's recommendation. I've never heard of Atar before, but after listening to some of their tracks, I for sure know they have some good funky music. I really liked "You set my soul of Fire" and "Clear Blue Skies". And "Too Crazy" reminded me of JMQ's "When you Gonna Learn". Overall a great album!
My recommendation for today will be Coldplay's newest album called X&Y:
Enjoy! _________________ "Got a pocket full of rainbows" |
