Seeing as how we are all revolutionaries now, lets have an interesting discussion:
Do you know about comrade Stalin? He did all sorts of things. Not only did he kill a lot of people, he attempted to rewrite history by removing all references to political enemies and people he didnt like! Even comrade Trotsky, someone who had been around for ages and was very popular. In fact, Trotsky had been part of the revolution since the beginning. But he was banned from Russia by Stalin and no one was allowed to say his name. Can you believe that?

Wow Jamirotalk has totally lost it since "MR X" (DUE To moderator rules i cant say his name) has been banned like mods just cant accept different oppinons..ppl are turning on ppl.. its goin crazy!

You demand to be allowed to act freely, but same time you misunderstand liberal basics which induce respect for feelings of the community (you are NOT the community - you are just a part of it). No, I don't think that the moderator's acting is nazi like. But, don't you think that your agitation and provoking is Al Qaida like?
And no, sorry, it is not YOUR forum. It belongs to a community which counts over thousand members - a handful of which feel comfortable with this kind of childish talk. The big majority is thankful for the kind of hygiene and care that moderators grant this cosy place.

Go to www.phpbb.com, draw the forum software, install it and have fun. It's almost as easy as that! If I can help you somehow, just tell me. Hey funkmaster
I think there was a huge misunderstanding in all this.
None of us complained about Catman being banned. We only complained about not being allowed to talk about him when he was gone, which we felt was due to personal reasons between CosmicBear and Catman.
We understand the forum rules, and we understand that you ultimately own the forum. But nowhere in the forum rules does it state that we cant talk about banned members. When our topics were closed because we mentioned catman, we felt that was going too far.
I hope I've helped clear that up.
So the fish like the water here, but a bigger fish was acting a bit too big and the little fish got annoyed. If the little fish accidently shat in the water, it was only out of frustration. But the fish did try to clean up the shit. Except, that wasn't acknowleged by the bigger fish. |
