That's cold, dude!
Man, I wish there was a way this album could find its way to America...the samples sound great and carry traces of a certain band we all know and love. I LOVE Clear Blue Skies, the second single. Congrats and good luck to Atar and the Funkadrome! _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. ATAR & THE FUNKADROME are just simply brilliant.
I went to see them at Cargo in London back in April, and I tell you what, they blew me away. Such a tight and funky band that made me smile from ear to ear all night !
I love their brass section. It makes such a difference I tell you, plus the Saxophonist laid down some crazy solos.
Anyway, for those of you who aren't aware, THE FUNKADROME will be launching their new album at THE CLAPHAM GRAND, London on the 19th of September. You just HAVE to get down there to see them - you will not regret it !
See y'all there.

Atar and the funkadrome are a new and up-coming band who's album is being sold in HMV and virgin megastores, i have rangt the stores up for you guys and they will ship out to many places in america but not if you in alaska or some little town in middle of no-where,
its nice to see a new band with a different approach to thier music and not the norm of pop or rock, i hope we can all go out and buy this album and support them and give them the jamily backing.

Guys, I bought the album off iTunes and it is AWESOME! Brilliant funky tracks with lots of strings and brass, just like the early Jamiroquai days. You Set My Soul On Fire is an absolutely amazing track. I fully recommend that you all check it out! |

This is very good. I'm getting this album from iTunes so I have something to listen to until I get the CD. This one is a must have in my collection.
Thanks for enlightening us! |

are they going to release an instrumental version of this album? I am not too keen on the vocals. Just sounds way too pop sounding IMO. Amazing band though, great find.
--EDIT--
I am finding the title track (Funkadrome) to be very catchy though
