Yeah, I'm still starved of those FEEL SO GOOD remixes.

On a side note, I finally saw the video for DYKWYCM, and the music video title in the bottom corner says, "M-BEAT FEATURING JAMIROQUAI". Funny thing is, the song is the version from TWOM! M-Beat doesn't say a word. You see a few shots of him, but he doesn't do anything! That burns me up!

Who the Hell is M-Beat anyway?

How about I stalk them/him/whateverthehell for you, then I'll tell them/him/whateverthehell how you loathe (lets just call them "it" from now on) it, then I'll kill it.. mwahahaha! Very Happy Shocked

M-Beat is/was (dunno if he's still doing his thang) a record producer, of the Drum 'n' Bass variety. Bit like Goldie or Alex Reece. Dunno if he was a DJ too. He did a couple of other singles with other artists, not that I can remember what they were. I'm not being very helpful, am I? Anyway, basically he was just the guy who twiddled the knobs in the studio...

M Beat has worked with General Levy, doing the song "Incredible" in the movie Ali G Indahouse.

I'm willing to bet there are very few fans registered that have THE COMPLETE ODYSSEY. Most of us, I think, probably had all of the albums before the box set came out.

Hey, I have both The Complete Odyssey and all the albums another smile

I have so many favourites, like Smellbob, but for a bonus album with live performances, I would like Our Time Is Coming (MTV's Most Wanted) and Sunny (Montreux Jazz Festival 1995). Also Canned Heat (Live In Verona) Smile I love that version.

Hi people! I've just had an idea how to make an ultimate fan's choice compilation. I used the voting on the funkin site: according to it, the fans' favourite is ROTSC, so I took 5 tracks from this album. According to the track voting they should be: Space Cowboy, Mr Moon, Light Years, Stillness In Time and Half The Man. The next ablum is TWM, so I took 4 tracks from it, and so on till Synkronized which would only have one track: Canned Heat. Here's what I made of it:

love foolosophy
you give me something
corner of the earth
canned heat
virtual insanity
cosmic girl
alright
high times
mr moon
light years
stillness in time
half the man
too young to die
blow your mind
space cowboy

This compilation has some great tracks missing, like Little L and Deeper Underground, but it is absolutely correct Smile

I just made a friend a single-disc greatest hits since she had never heard of Jamiroquai. It was tough to limit it to one disc, but here is what I came up with:

01 - When You Gonna Learn (Digeridoo)
02 - Space Cowboy
03 - Half The Man
04 - Alright
05 - Cosmic Girl
06 - High Times
07 - Virtual Insanity
08 - Black Capricorn Day
09 - Canned Heat
10 - Deeper Underground
11 - Corner Of The Earth
12 - Love Foolsophy
13 - Twenty Zero One
14 - Starchild
15 - Seven Days In Sunny June
16 - Black Devil Car

(just under 80 minutes!)

I used all album tracks since I lead a sheltered life and haven't heard any mixes yet!

I have always liked greatest hits discs that kept the songs in chronological (or reverse-chronological) order. I pretty much stuck with the singles until I hit the last two cds...where I ventured off and added a couple of personal favorites. With every cd there is always a song or two that I just can't get out of my head..."Twenty Zero One" and "Black Devil Car" were those songs for me on the last two cds. Plus I wanted to end the cd on a rockin' note so Black Devil Car was perfect for that. Smile

I think that a two cd set would be even better

Hi all,

After a little search I've found this topic, which is quite current with the upcoming Greatest Hits album.
Maybe we all can give our opinions here (again) to get a good idea what the fans want on the seventh studio-album.
You may also give a list of what you expect Wink

(Please keep in mind that it has to be a Greatest Hits album, which means that there'll be only singles on it plus some new tracks.)

To have a restart of this topic, I'll give mine (a combination of what is realistic, what I expect and a little bit of what I hope):

Jamiroquai - Greatest Hits

1. When You Gonna Learn
2. *New Track*
3. Canned Heat
4. Virtual Insanity
5. Blow Your Mind
6. (Don't) Give Hate A Chance
7. Too Young To Die
8. Love Foolosophy
9. Stillness In Time
10. *New Track*
11. Cosmic Girl
12. Space Cowboy
13. You Give Me Something
14. Seven Days In Sunny June
15. Alright

Jeroen.
