I'd like to ask Paul which show in the tour has been his best, as well as if there's any differences in how he approaches his work that comes from jumping from festival set-ups to the arenas where the band is in now. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. Some questions:
- What do you think of Bootsy Collins?
- What types of music do you listen to except funk/disco?
- Are you influenced only by funky players like Jaco and Bootsy, or do you ever listen to bassists like Paul McCartney or Chris Squire? _________________ Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication! |

Is that a Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass I've seen you using on stage? I just got my first bass guitar (a Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass) a few weeks back, and you were a galvanizing factor in actually going to buy one.
Any advice for a beginning bassist?
Are there any plans to resurrect "Shoot the Moon?" I think a lot of fans want to hear this one again.
So far on tour, where was your (personally) best performance? And the band as a whole?
Can you guys come a little bit further south in the USA on tour someday? Dallas, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana(if it ever recovers); Nashville, Tennessee- all great music metros. Going to college in the South is not conducive to getting to New York on a weekend!
Peace and have a fantastic tour Stateside!

well these are my questions for young Paul Turner on bass:
1.- What do you think about the past bassplayers of the band? what about their style and performance?
2.- The place for bassists in Jamiroquai seems to be cursed... Are you gonna leave the band after one or two albums to continue with own projects or something like that?
3.- Being a bassist in a band after guys like Stuart Zender and Nick Fyffe is not an easy job... do you really think that you are able to make a better job than them?
4.- What Jamiroquai song you love or prefer to perform? i mean, that song that really calls your attention because of its bass line, rythm, etc...
5.- Are you gonna be involved in the song writing for next albums? In case you're gonna participate on them...
6.- Which are your musical inspirations?
7.- Which bassists inspired you to be what you are now? _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Hello again,
I got another question :
QUESTION: I have noticed all the really cool artsy T-shirts you have been wearing during the recent Jami Tours, where are they from, represent and where can fans get them?
There you go, thanks and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________
