Jamirotalk-Jamily-T-Shirts
Yeah, I like the shirt as well! And I have a girly shirt in dark blue, with pink print - the same print as the band shirts!
I thought some of you might be interested in having such a "jamily"-shirt, so I will prepare a file for download, so that you all can go to a local shirt print shop and make your own jamirotalk-jamily shirt!
I will open a new thread in the Jamily section with the download file in the next days.
Oh, I wanted to say something to Moni and Miss Mary and their friends! It was really nice to meet you, but it was way too short of course!!! So sorry that we had to leave so fast... Thanks anyways! I hope we will get another chance to meet and spend some more time together!!

The first very positve media reviews of the Hamburg concert appeared online.
"Stern" wrote a long positive article:

Jamiroquai
You know - crossing the dutch borderline".

_________________

Hello again,
Great review find Monisum, if you don't mind, I took the liberty to translate the German review to English, hope it helps :
Jamiroquai "I is your new chancellor" © Marcus of post office humus/strip packing front man Jay Kay of Jamiroquai laughs for the start of its "Dynamite" route of Caroline Werner the Funkmagier Jamiroquai acknowledges live with its new" Dynamite"album. For the route start in Hamburg they electrified not only the public, but announced also, who new chancellor could be. "it is much ago to for a long time", called Jay Kay with about one hour of Show delay in the microphone. 5000 fans were jubilant up. After four years of creative break the British kings of the radio acknowledged and brought those to Hamburg Color LINE arena to cooking. Mix from old hits, new hit-suspicious songs and a dragging along Show inspired the public in the choice evening. Beside current Chartbreakern like "Seven Days in Sunny June" gave those to volume also "space cowboy", "Virtual Insanity" and "Cosmic Girl" to the best one. The sound with recognizing value let it twitch again and again in the legs. Already in the Vorhinein front man Jay Kay apologized for the fact that he probably less than used dance and become zappeln. Easily hurt it stepped on the stage. Its right hand had to be sewn the previous evening with seven passes - an accident in the route bus, which it dismissed with a winking: "You know - crossing the dutch boron that LINE". Jay Kay had excited attention lately by wild parties, drug excesses and its out-curving life-style. The small accident prevented it unfortunately also to accomplish its unrestrained jumps on the stage. But twice it showed it nevertheless the public then. INDICATE route data 20.09.: Duesseldorf, Philipshalle 21.09.: Berlin, arena Treptow 04.10.: Munich, Zenith 05.10.: Frankfurt, century-resounds "I is your new chancellor" asked Jay Kay sometime into sold off the not completely resounds inside whether the new chancellor is already selected in Germany, who would have won and whom the public wishes itself. In a choir the mass answered with a word: "you". Thereupon it answered: "I should be your new chancellor? I am your new chancellor." There the public exploded and applauded for several minutes applause. In the 70er-Jahre-Disco-Stil a extravagante Lichtshow captivated. Apart from the long-known combination of Acid jazz, Neo Soul, R&B, radio and Hip Hop tried Jamiroquai in the new album of "dynamites" for the first time with rockigem Low Fi sound, from which with difficulty was to be extracted and which set the listeners in motion. © Marcus of post office humus/strip packing rare sight: Jay Kay without hat mandatory Bush criticism approximate after half of the concert fired Jay Kay with a statement to the US politics loosely. "everyone knows that George Bush is a hybrid and the Fanatischste under the Fanatikern" said, the singer. Each star, who in the public presented seems somehow, on the flag to have been written: "condition bass drum Bush criticism do not forget." In its Message wanted it of the most important to remind: the children in the "rogue states" (Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan). Absolute is to be made certain that children everything to believe are not, what them one mediates and it the hands of weapons to leave to be supposed. In addition it cannot be in the course of humanity that young humans the legs are weggebombt. Approving applause in the arena. Thereupon the Song "Don't used give hate A chance". Not without my hat famous by its bizarre head coverage, is considered to front singer Jay Kay as one the most popular Popsaenger Great Britain. In the last years it was however calmly become around the volume, before it submitted now its sixth album with the promising title of "dynamites". With the concert in the Hanseatic city Jay Kay took its red velvet hat only once from the head. But the public thanked it it the more. Toward end of the Show it again sphericalally with the hit "Travelling without moving" from the year 1993. Only after an two-hour Show and an addition the public left the volume of the stage. With the title "DTE by Underground" from the sound TRACK to the film "Godzilla" said good-bye the Sextett designated after a Irokesenstamm. Article from 19 September 2005 "n-tv" gives A short positve notice too: http://www.n-tv.de/581474.html Monday, 19 September of 2005 kings of the radio Jamiroquai inspire the fans the kings of the radio acknowledge live: Before 5,000 fans the British volume Jamiroquai in the Sunday evening started its Germany route in Hamburg. For its hats and its preference radio Magier Kay well-known for fast cars the most popular Popstars Great Britain is considered as one. Hi, well I haven't been posting here for probably more than a year, but I check some topics every now and then. Anyway, cool review! Good pictures aswell!
The reason for my post; tomorrow (or actually today) I will go to the Jamiroquai concert in Düsseldorf, with my girlfriend. I was wondering if there are any people from the forum that will also go there? Let me know!
Greetings,
Rob |
