Should they always end with "Deeper Underground"?
Yeah, it's the perfect ending song for a concert night.

Do they always end with Deeper Underground?
From looking at a lot of different set lists from the current tour, it seems like the one consistent thing is they end with Deeper Underground. Are you guys ok with this? Doesn't matter? Would you like to see them mix it up a little bit (on the end song I mean). I like "Deeper Undergorund", but when I go to those 2 shows in NY, and the one in Chi-town, SURPIRSE ME A LITTLE DAMNIT! Ok... I've vented. However the setlist is arranged, I'll have a good time, but it would be nice if the end song wasn't so predictable...

it's a good song to end with, but their using it for the last song since 99, that makes 3 tours always finishing with that one (with some rare exceptions), i like the song and it always make the people go mad, but i prefer if they don't play it more, they can use other rocky songs for endind as twenty zero one or stop don't panic if they want to end with a strong song, but i prefer if they play any other tune, maybe the best thing is those live remixes were they jam for long as the cosmic girl quassar mix, the little l wounded buffalo, or the alright jamming, or those long when you gonna learn version were they link lot of old cover songs......

It's a strong track to end a show, but I'd prefer them to change it from time to time, and make it a surprise.

I don't think that songs like When You Gonna Learn or Too Young To Die give the adrenaline rush that one like Deeper Underground does.

With its long intro & thundering bass it really builds the audience to a crescendo for the climax of the show... Ending the show on a high...

That said, I don't think its the ONLY song that can do that. I guess its just a proven formula: not broken so hasn't needed to be mended!!! Wink

The U.S. tour could add a different perspective to things...

Why? Deeper Undergorund is a good, powerful ending song. But in "Canned Heat", it's got an equally popular name here: "The Vote for Pedro" song (see Napolean Dynamite). People here think Jamiroquai is a one-hit wonder because of "Virtual Insanity". "Allright" is always a good option. Another could be "Lovefoolosophy". That song was a great ender for Live in Verona... Im just saying there are other options.

But Yvie is right that they have to be songs that capture the audience. Sons like "When you gonna learn" or "Too Young to Die" are good to hear during the course of a show, but are not powerful enugh to end with. Peace!

Play it first, and start playing different setlists all around.
