Superb interview Rob's such a top bloke, he was so nice when we bumped into him and the rest of the band in Pori. Really looking forward to the MEN gig next month!
Thanks for putting this online and thanks to Rob for taking a time out to answer questions for us

ps.: cosmicmouse...would you please tell us :
-was it you who did this interview?
-have you met rob (the same with matt and sola) personal?
-where have you met?
-how was the whole situation?
-(no.... i´m not curious..... )
|
Members of the jamirotalk.net team prepared the question. We did a brainstorming and collected all the question we had in mind.
Then I put the questions together, brought them into an order that makes sense, added some, deleted some and added an introduction and other information, written by Diego.
Yvie did the last corrections.
It was me, interviewing Rob - by email. We swapped a few emails and I sent him the questions, he sent it back to me with his answers within 24 hours.
So, I have to dissapoint you. I haven't met Rob, Matt and Sola in person for those interviews. (The interview with Matt and Sola were also done by emails)
Maybe one of the next interviews will be a face to face interview... who knows?

Yes, very sincere. Some people when gets interviewed says nothing intresting (think of all the soccer players on the after match!)...the last question of his friend waiting for the gig is really cool
I must say my view about Rob changed in the last year. He's giving a big contribution to the band, his sound is pretty different from the sound of the jamiroquai dream team (using Edgar words ) but that doesn't mean wrong. I actually like the new album and I smell his work in most of the songs and I like it! Take also a listen to the Golf Juan bootleg, he's playing real funky stuff!
Now he got only to turn off the distorsion sometimes to be a perfect jmq guitarist ...just joking! _________________ I once had a 10 years of Travelling Without Moving celebrations banner here... |

Yeah Robs a top bloke. He has becaome a key part of the band and I don't want him to leave.
But it's a shame that the band has never recorded Shoot The Moon. I would so love to hear that song again - even if it just made a concert set list once in a while. It would be a great song for any jazz festival. |

Hello,
Superb Harris Interview everyone, very indepth, very impressive, best interview I have read in a WHILE ! Sorry for not doing alot of contributing to this interview, though I think one of my questions did make it in there, but a hectic couple of months for me, so I hope I can come on more often during the cool fall . Again, great interview, much respect to all my Jamfriends for their involvement! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
