So is Opera. In any case, wheter you choose Firefox or Opera, you will be more satisfied then you are now with IE. Believe me! |

Go for Firefox, the 1.0.7 release has been very stable and for some strange reason IE has given me nothing but problems lately (and I know my computer stuff).
Anyway, what you'll love about Firefox is;
- It's got tabs, so not more 10+ websites in different windows!
- You gotta check out the Firefox Extensions site...there are lots of cool and very useful extensions for the browser. (my fave one's being Adblock; you'll love it too)
- It's free
- It's relatively saver than IE (less chance on getting malware installed on your computer).
- You can change it's looks with "Theme's"
Cons:
- Some badly made websites don't render out that well in Firefox, so sometimes you need to use IE, but that's not Firefox' fault! (It's actually due to Microsoft being arrogant and not willing to cooperate on set webstandards, and they can do that because they got 90% market share).
Just my two cents. _________________ The name's Rob, just Rob |

From my site's statistics:
IE: 77.7%
FF: 14.8%
Opera: 2.4%
Safari: 2.1%
Counted on more than 600000 hits
I'm using FF otherwise. |

That's just because Windows users get IE standard with Windows, and a lot of people have no idea about other systems / software available, or just dont care. Taking that into account, 14.8% is a pretty high number in my opinion! _________________ The name's Rob, just Rob |

Well I use both though admitedly I use IE more. At the moment I've not got Firefox installed on my machine & at work only IE is available. But I use Firefox if I use my brothers machine & when I get time to sort my jumbled mess of a computer (programme files everywhere!) I'm gonna start using it. But FunkieJunkie is right: some sites I use I still need to use IE... |
