Which songs will be changed on the setlist???
When Jeroen had a chat with Matt after the Brussels gig Matt mentioned that the setlist was gonna change a bit on the next phase of the tour. What do you think, which song will be dropped and which song will be picked up? I'm just hoping that they'll play Electric Mistress once again after B3, cause even though the bad quality of the record, it's the best live track for me from Dynamite... |

They have A LOT of songs waiting to be played again!! Most of the songs in every album sounded like potencial singles, every time there's a new album we say the same. They have great songs to play, but they always choose the same. I mean, why not playing "When You Gonna Learn", "Manifest Destiny", "Scam", "Supersonic" (with synth didgeridoo ), "Where Do We Go From Here"... a lot!!!

looking at the setlist i always wonder why he only plays the "fast" ones...no falling, or spend a lifetime, blow your mind or everyday, would give a concert more diversity...of course all this songs are great, ...u know what i mean? u only dance dance dance...would be interesting and relaxing hearing a slow one,.. |

well, is true that there are so many slow tunes that they don't unse to play or never been played, but they did so many times some ones as corner of the earth, black crow, butterfly and blow your mind _________________

They showed that a little bit in the Clapham gig. They did 'Too Young To Die', and then straight to 'Electric Mistress', two completely different things. That concert (which I saw it was filmed, I want to hear that great bootleg with A+++ quality!) could've been even better with more songs from their previous albums, but they did an excellent job, more than 2 hours and like 21 songs, we can't complain. They played songs from all the eras. That's what they should do. But I gotta say, I'm very pleased with the current tracklisting of the concerts.

Yeah, I live in Argentina. But I remember (don't know where... maybe Seven Days making of?? ) they showed footage of that gig and there were cameras filming the event.

When we were talking with Rob and Paul, they told us that they have a list of 50 songs for their rehearsals, and Jay is choosing the songs at each concert new. Sometimes - during a concert he is changing the setlist spontaneously - they always have to be ready for all possibilities, and must be able to play all the 50 songs - anytime.
Paul said that this makes it really interesting and exciting to perform with Jamiroquai. (I hope I quote him right here... at least that's what I remember him saying)
He also said that he personally would love to play Mr.Moon, Stillness in Time or Butterfly!!
So, what I wanted to say: There are good chances that the setlist will change in the further concerts/legs of the tour!

Matt said to me he likes to play Stillness In Time also.
Let's hope they'll put it on the setlist for the next tours. He likes to play Just Another Story too. Would be great! |
