Yeah, I'm glad some sort of Buffaloman returned to us. And I didn't hate the clip as much as I thought I would. But still it doesn't fit Jamiroquai...
And I must say I agree with HoT-TeQuila-Brown: (D)GHAC shouldn't be released as a single. _________________

Yeah, the idea is good, but Jay looks too cartonish. Is the only thing I can criticize to the video for what I've seen. Is a mixture of all Jay eras, his glasses are like the ones he wore in 'Blow Your Mind' video, very big; the buffalo hat and the AFO hat... and the Adidas ... with only 2 stripes!!!
His face should've been more real. But I like the video, is different.

I fully agree with D. If the animated caracter would visually look more like Jay, the video would be much better. _________________

Oh cool, just saw it one time... have to see it a few more times, though. But my first impression is quite good.
Do you guys know that cartoon from the 70ies? That little always moaning man "La Linea" from the italian cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli? That animated man was made of only one line and the drawer was always drawing things on the screen and deleting them again with a rubber - just like you can see it in the (D)GHAC video! I am pretty sure that "La Linea" was one of the inspirations for the new video!! It reminds me A LOT to that old cartoon.
Here you can see some videos of "La Linea"

yes mouse! you're right! it reminds me to that too......
and about the buffaloguy.....i also think it could be more close to jay in the face, but this way is also ok, you know is Jay because of the look and movements....and also....did jay say that the body is really him in the interview? so they use movement catching stuu to do it? really the moves are well done _________________

Thanks for that bit of info Mouse. I remember these cartoons now, and the video makes a little more sense now why the drawings are kept so simple.

Hey!
I missed CD:UK today as I was needed at work, but I rushed home at 6pm and caught the entire video on the Chart Show TV channel! Can you imagine my reaction!
What a great video! Fantastic animation - the Buffalo Man has been given a whole new dimension and I think it really works! Also, they were right about the military feel - the animated characters are very representative.
I just can't wait to see it again! (You can't miss it while flicking through the music channels, can you?!)

Hello yet again,
Very cool video, though I have only seen the 1 minute and some change on the Funkin Site CD:UK clip, very different, though I get a few "Gorillaz" reminises from it . In regards to the Italian animation influence of Osvaldo Cavandoli, I remember seeing alot of his animation shorts on PBS years ago, and really enjoyed it too. By the way, did anyone wonder what studio made this animated video? I saw in the video CD:UK something called "Hitracks Addition", could that be the studio responsible for it? Oh well, can't to see the full version soon, and it makes you wonder why they aren't capitalizing on the market value of these new computer animated characters and coming out with toys of them. Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________
