Hello,

Just checked the memberlist and I was astonished by the following:

Jamirotalk has 1413 registered users and 725 of them have never posted a message Confused

Can anyone explain how this can happen?

Some people just register in order to read. When you are registered and logged in, then the un-read messages are marked in orange.
(I am registered in quite a few messageboards, but have never posted there as well)

I have a few (2 or 3) test accounts with which I have never posted, in order to test what a normal user, or moderator or team member can see or do.
Those are as well in the list. Then the bandmembers (i did register long ago) who still haven't posted yet.. Wink

And some users have double accounts... maybe because they made a mistake when registering and put a wrong email adress. Therefore they couldn't activate their account.

I think there are also fake users who just register in order to put their website url in the profile to get more clicks... and so on.

That could be some reasons.

But have a look at the official forum... there are thousands of users who have never posted.

Seems not a problem to me. Every forum has a great number of non-posting members...
