What a performance! The band, the sound system and the crowd were amazing! Dude sure has a lot of energy! I toook some pics and some video, so i'll be posting and uploading them soon!

The concert was about 2 and a half hours long. Nice warm up set by Globe Sonic Sound System!

New York showed him lots of love and he knew it and appreciated it. He mentioned the last time they performed in the U.S was September 10th 2001.
We all know what happened the day after. He basically said, that was a real shitty time for eveyone but that was then and this is now. Let's enjoy tonight!

He also mentioned that they'll be back in March!

The place was packed! Standing room only or at least from my vantage point! I was right up front to see the sweat dripping from his face! The guy does know how to entertain an audience. And everyone knew the lyrics to all the songs! Even the ones off the new album.

Seven Days In Sunny June sent everyone into mass hysteria!

It went like this,

1 Canned Heat
2 Space Cowboy
3 Cosmic Girl
4 Revolution 1993
5 Little L
6 Seven Days In Sunny June
7 High Times
8 Dynamite
9 You Give Me Something
10 Love Blind
11 Use The Force
12 Black Capricorn Day
13 Love Foolosophy
14 Main Vein/Time Won't Wait
15 (Don't) Give Hate A Chance
16 Alright

Then they called it a night but the crowd demanded an encore, which i'm sure was planned.

It reached to a fever point with the crowd screaming and clapping!
Then the whole concert hall was filled with the chant of, oooooollllllllleeee, ole, ole ,oleeeeee........................oooollleeeee, oooooollllllleeeeee!!
That was amazing!

They came back on and closed of the show with,
17 Deeper Underground.

It was a great night with some really cool people! Jamiroquai fans are great!

I wasn't the only one!
I played it safe though!

I waited until i saw other people taking pictures. Security paid no attention.

That's when i started to take my pics and video.

What are they going to do? Ask everyone not to bring their phones?Shocked

Everyone has a phone with a camera and or video.Laughing It's the information age!

I can answer that question easy. They had metal detectors and they patted us down before we were allowed in the theatre. Both nights I made no effort to hide on the first night a disposable camera, and on the second night my digital camera except just putting the cameras in my front pocket. They literrally felt the cameras, but let me go by anyway. It's almost like security had a motto "If they don't have a gun or a knife let them in".

My review for the gigs will come shortly, but it seems like most of the basics were covered. THE FIRST NY CONCERT WAS MY FIRST EVER JAMI CONCERT, AND SO IT WILL PROBABLY BE TO ME ALWAYS MY FAVORITE FOR THAT REASON, BUT BOTHS SHOWS WERE SO INCREDIBLE!!!!! Peace!

that's exactly what happened to me. They felt the camera in my pocket both nights. Like the literally grabbed it through ym pocket, but they didn't care. There was no sense in trying to hide it because they had the metal detector wands going.

OHMIGOD!! What an amazing night!! I was at the Oct. 24th show and it was awesome! The setlist was amazing, but they also played Starchild, I forget when they played it though. I got a chance to meet Pete (Jamineapolis), I recognized him in the crowd and just asked him his name. Was very cool to meet another Jamirotalker! I couldn't believe I was 15 feet from Jay Kay! It was so surreal, I never thought I would get to see them. (It was my first show as well) The theatre was set up real nice too. The DJ's were awesome. Everything was perfect! (Except for the 3-4 bitches that decided to shove their way to the front through everyone like some drunken slobs when Jami came out, but I just shoved the one girl back and I wasn't going to let them ruin my night:) On that note, I'm so glad I made the trip and I will never forget that night:)
peace out,
robyn
