Jamiroquai comfirmed in Viña del Mar (more detailed info)
Taken from funkin.com (most of you may already know this)
Following the recent news that plans were being made for Jamiroquai to perform at the Festival Internacional de la Cancion de Vina del Mar being held in Chile between 22 and 27 February 2006, the event organiser has today (4 November) confirmed that Jamiroquai will perform.
The actual date has not yet been announced, but it will be between 22 and 27 February 2006.

Santiago.- The british bands Simply Red and Jamiroquai will take part in the next edition of the Viña del Mar festival in 2006, this was confirmed this evening by Ricardo de la Fuente, director of the event, and the mayor of the city, Virginia Reginato.
Both groups will be the main attractions of the 47th edition of the musical event that will take place in the Quinta Vergara between the 22th and the 27th of frebruary.
One of the surprise numbers of the show will be the humorous act by "Coco" Legrand, despite he said goodbye to Viña del Mar in the year 2000.
Chilean bands confirmed are Illapu and Joe Vasconcellos.
Juan Luis Guerra and Miranda! Are other artists that will play in the festival.
Also the mexican Alejandro Fernández, Marc Anthony, Andy y Lucas, Los Tigres del Norte and the spanish duet Amaral.
The puertorican Daddy Yankee with his reggaetón promises to make the whole Quinta dance.
There are still four numbers that are yet to be announced. |

Disculpenme primos lejanos chilenos, pero si Jamiroquai verdaderamente van a Viña del Mar, es LO PEOR DE LO PEOR.
A ver si me explico... todos los años, en ese festival se juntan artistas que no tienen nada que ver unos con otros. Lo cual transforma el festival en una "mellange" de estilos.
Que se entienda: buenísimo que van a Chile, pero CERO PUNTOS a la actuación en la Quinta Vergara después del numerito de Raphael (o de cualquier artista pedorro como esos) La misma suerte corre para Simply Red. ME ENCANTAN, pero si por ejemplo, están después de Paulina Rubio es para PEGARSE UN TIRO!

No solo Paulina Rubio... yo no podria aceptar a Jay Kay haciendo su actuacion despues de DADDY YANKEE!!!! 
realmente no puedo aceptar eso!
pero de todas formas, bien por ellos! almenos es una chance para verlos, cosa que no ocurriria en mi pais! osea que, disfrutenlo

exacto opino lo mismo que la gente de arriba xD
el festival no es para nada aceptable para jamiroquai sobre todo si esta ese estupido de daddy jankee ....
en fin
ese festival nunca ah ido de mi agrado
pero que se le va hacer si ya canal 13 ah confirmado al artista para el show pero yo prefieria mil veces que el show hubiese sido en otro luego no se en un estadio o algo asi...
habrá que ir a verlo nu mah digo yo xD

amigos argentinos: obviamente a nadie que sepa de musica le gusta este festival (si, es una mierda). pero jamiroquai es seguro la mayor atraccion porque en el noticiero de canal 13 (canal organizador) fue lo que mas destacaron junto a simply red (imaginense tambien toda la plata que tuvieron que pagar para traerlos asi que, sin duda van a abrir el festival)

Buenísimo, al menos alguien comparte mi opinión (incluido los chilenos)
Por supuesto que es una oportunidad para verlos y no hay que desaprovecharla, ya que la última vez que vinieron a Sudamérica no tocaron en Chile por el huevón de Pinochet (que tenía que ver, no sé  )

que toquen en santiago!
eso... bueno, yo supongo que harán una gira latinoamericana porque no creo que vengan.. toquen en viña... y chao. No les conviene, seguro que pasan a brasil y argentina y ojalá algun otro pais más.
Solo espero que tambien toquen en Chile, en stgo, aparte del festival, porque además de ser una mierda y traer otros "artistas" que no valen la pena, el show a lo más durará 1 hora... y hemos esperado tanto que nos merecemos más que eso.
Por ahi se decia que canal 13 hace un contrato con el que se queda con la exclusividad del evento por 6 meses... lo que no permitiria al grupo hacer un concierto aparte... ESPERO que eso no ocurra, y si ocurre... ESPERO TAMBIEN que los fans chilenos nos movamos para protestar si llega a pasar semejante tontera...
Bueno, ya me desquité, les dejo la palabra... |

Hola, es verdad que el festival es una mierd@, lo peor seria tener que esperar que terminen su funcion Daddy Yankee o Paulina Rubio para asi luego de tanta musica mierd@ poder ver a Jamiroquai en el escenario.
Al menos lo van a televisar
Ademas esto indica que vienen a Sudamerica, por lo tanto quizas tambien visiten Argentina, Brasil, Uruguay... |
