(D)GHAC crashes and burns...
Funkin reporting that the third single lands at No. 27 on the UK charts.

Ouch. Oh well, I thought the remixes sucked anyway. If I was in the UK, I probably wouldn't have bought it either.

And I thought this album was gonna be another TWM hit... Rolling Eyes

That's bad... it's a good song and it was well positioned in the TV charts.

Funkin now reporting that the single hit No. 16 on the Smash Hits Chart and No. 15 in the hit40uk chart...both take in airplay (including video), and do not solely rely on sales.

Yes, I know they played the song live, but not in every gig, since they anounced that DGHAC was going to be the 3rd single they've done aproximately 10 concerts and DGHAC was played in 4...

Let's face it they didn't promote the track as the should have done...

GHAC has an exceptional video, but when it comes to the pop charts you'll never score real high if you don't have a catchy chorus.
This song has an awesome verse but a none-too-catchy chorus.

At various points of the last 2 weeks I have tried to buy DGHAC in the shops.....BUT I CAN'T FIND IT!

JMQ aren't doing well in the charts 'cos of poor publicity

And they get no publicity because of poor chart performance!

Crying or Very sad

I have to agree. They get especially poor publicity here in the States and Dynamite should have been another TWM hit because its even stronger than TWM (in my opinion) . Grr! I don't like remixes, but the radio edits in the States aren't so bad. There just isn't a clear cut market for funk and the pop stations play the same 5 songs over and over. I dunno, I find it frustrating.

Nearly everything you have said there in your post............ ditto! Wink

Well tbh apart from the part where you talk about TWM compared to Dynamite.......mmm not sure about that BUT i will say that radio pisses me off in a big way here in the UK. Sad
