Well, it's just them quoting what The Sun printed. Still no reliable and trustworthy media reporting this. If it's on BBC with Jay himself verifying the information I'll start believing it. For now I'll just relax and stay cool. I consider it an unverified rumour, a fabricated lie until I get real evidence telling me Jay will retire. |
good way
i hope the bbc say sometin about that...
and anyways maybe jay comeback to top gear for say more _________________ Only a fool can walk away from me this time

totally agree...!!!!
i don´t know how often i mentioned my respect but also my doubts concerning the amazing number of tour dates...we never should forget , he is also a man, a human being... who is tired of working....he is going to be 40 in a few years, still no family...no wonder he needs a break and as his fans... give him this necessary break!
don´t get me wrong...i don´t want to imagine a time without jamiroquai...it´s HIS life....i can understand he want to see other things than only music , touring, press, glemma and high society...money money...he knows, it is not the most important thing...i wish him all the best and that his dreams come true..however they look..he has given so much too us..we shouldn´t be angry with him, it will things only make harder for him!!!! |

but it is his job.
I know a couple of builders who are arsed off their jobs. or the lorry drivers. That´s a hard job, not singing and dancing (that´s more like a dream).
and he needs to get money from somewhere. He just can´t stop working. |

You worry too much for too little. At the moment it's nothing but a rumour spread by a tabloid known to consider truth as something you can bend, twist and turn in order to sell loose copies of the newspaper. The Sun isn't to be trusted!
I was helluva lot more worried about Jay's cocaine habit and the effect it could have had on Jamiroquai in the long run. Now THAT could have ended it all. He was light years away from where he wanted to be. Light years away from who he really was. He's not going to give it all up and go away now folks. He is finally finding himself again.
When he is out of the Sony deal I bet we're about to see a new Jamiroquai much closer to the old Jamiroquai we all learned to love. Nah'mean, nah'm sayin'? |

It's only a rumour guys: no point worrying over things before they happen!!

All i can think of...he is pissed of with Sony!
But why take it out on the fans?
We do not deserve this kind of treatment! |
Even if it IS true, it's his decision!! C'mon do you really think it'd be a deliberate action to put the fans backs up? Yes we all want Jami to continue but at the same time I'd like to think that as fans we'd like Jay & the rest of the band to be happy? I'm sure very few of us would stick at a job we found stressful & made us unhappy/unwell just out of a loyalty to the company. I certainly know I wouldn't!! |

Yeah Yvie I understand him, of course!
But I'm also sure that as soon as he finds a girl, and has family... he will start writing songs again... I mean, come on, the guy has his own recording studio! Every time he is bored / inspired, he can go there...
