I think there is a slight problem. With the apparently upcoming Greatest Hits collection Jay still has to release another album, because it will be the seventh record. Or did I miss something?

Hi there,

Yes, apparently the Live In Verona DVD counted as the 6th release of the 8-album deal. With 'Dynamite' as the 7th, the 'Greatest Hits' album will be the 8th and final release of Jamiroquai and Sony BMG.

OK. if Greatest Hits is going to be the next album, they won't release any unreleased stuff.
So they have to release a 2 cd set with a dvd with all the videos, and that's all.

That's the point. I think you've reason, it's an important fact. In my opinion, it should be a Greatest Hits including a DVD, reports from Dynamite tour, some new tracks or whatever. I don't want to see exactly the same Jamiroquai, falling quickly in chart positions. Or a new album, or a Greatest Hits with some extras.

Well... Greatest Hits albums always include at least 2 new tracks. And, most of the Greatest Hits released are well received and sell good. And, now with the release of the Dual Disc of almost every of this kind of collections, we can get a DVD with extra material.

I know I'm buying the Greatest Hits.

I commented on funkin about how 'Sir' JK was distraught about his dog's well being at the time of those comments being made, and I can't blame it. It made me very jubliant to hear these comments being made, he finally vented his long held problems with Sony, and I could just visualize JamiroFan 2000 slamming his clenched fist on a desktop in a release of emotion to these comments.

I liked what Space Clav said, and I want a special release of videos for all our favourites that never had a video at the time, like Main Vein, Picture of My Life and the track Travelling Without Moving.

And on it I want STM and few different versions of it.

And a cover of a George Benson and a Mary Blige song. And maybe some duets with Pharrel Williams and other surprising artists who are not 'jazz' artists.

And my list would go on and on . . . 'sells just like it should' - Sony have shot themselves in the foot !!! Who needs who, I ask you ???

:-))))) h
