What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done?
A recent interview with Jay has inspired me to start this topic.
I think the most romantic thing I have done was getting engaged with my husband Miran (not Bear!) in August 1998, in Cyprus, high in the sky over the sea... while we were parasailing!
I was not so much afraid that we would fall down... no I was scared that we might lose our rings...
It was really exciting and soooo romantic when Miran asked me there in the sky, if I want to be with him for the rest of our live!
What romantic things have you done?
Mouse
this is not us... it's just a pic I found on the internet to give you an idea what we have done!
I have pics from us in the air, but not on my computer. I will post them as soon as I have scanned them!

Damn! I don't remember doing something romantic! To be honest, I'm not good at that...
Can I revive this topic in about 10 years?

hehe, well something like that happened to me, I remember that when I was 7 or 8 year old the girl I like leave the town and went with her family to the North of the country, and I've never seen her again, just once, 3 years ago, but just a few minutes, because when I knew she was in town she was leaving...
So I missed her for about 3 years after she left.
I was a little boy in love who a little girl broke his heart
I went a lil offtopic with that, sorry
Hehe, well, anyway, I have a girlfriend now, since Feb 2004, and I love her a lot! |

This is more sweet than romantic & was a friend of mine who did this rather than me... but here goes with the story anyway!!
I was always a clumsy child (still am a clumsy adult now!!) & always fell over a lot! (Still do this now too!!) One time when I was about ten I fell over & cut & grazed all my arm & leg up. I was with my best friend at the time (a boy). I was crying a lot & I still remember how worried he was that I'd hurt myself. He gave me these lil presents to try to stop me crying & to cheer me up: things that were his prize possesions. I still have them today!! He gave me this cool lil blue watch & this little koala bear soft toy...
Just a sweet story that made me smile to write... |

interesting topic, but i would change the question a little bit. singing a lovely lovetune in the middle of the night beneith the window of your beloved might be romantic for one, but pure noise for the other. so i'd say other have to judge wether it is romantic what you've done or it isn't.
so what your friend has done for you, yvie is pretty romantic. i guess i would have done the same, tho i probably would have pushed you beforehand myself. _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Hate you, hate Kansas, took the dog. Dorothy. x |

I don't know if it's romantic, I just think it's sweet... Here goes my story.
My boyfriend lives in another city, so I go to see him when I get my holidays and don't have to go to class. I go and stay in his house and I sleep in the room next to him 'cause he lives with his parents and we can't sleep together 'cause of that (when I say sleep, I mean only sleeping), and he told me that he likes sleeping with me. As we couldn't sleep together in the night, I used to stay with him lay down in the bed until he fall asleep. Once he's sleeping, I go to my bed. So he fall asleep thinking that he sleeps with me and he wakes up thinking that I slept by his side.. Then he comes to wake me up.. Sorry for my english, I try to explain the best I can.
Miss him loads

great stories -
the most romantic thing that i've done is probably taken this guy that i was in love with on a cruise to ochos rios and grand cayman..
in return, he fell in love with my good friend and they are now together. broke my heart...
needless to say, i asked him for the money for that cruise
you live and learn and keep it moving..
ask me again in 5,10, 15, 20 years... |
