Hello there,

I watched yesterday 'Sin City', with high expectations... but I don't like it that much. I have to recognize is very innovative (filmed in black & white, like in the graphic novels -were this series is based of- but with things in color). And the cast was good too. But the stories were a little bit cheap! The only one I liked it was the one with Bruce Willis. But hey... is just my opinion, watch it for yourselves.

Hello !
Yesterday nite i saw on DVD a very interesting movie whom main character was interpretated by Emma Thompson: "The power of the mind"
I seriously recommend it to u: well structured, clear, able to make u interrogate about the meaning of death
So beautiful the holy sonnet by John Donne recited by the actress at the end of the movie:

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so ;
For those, whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy picture[s] be,
Much pleasure, then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou'rt slave to Fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy, or charms can make us sleep as well,
And better than thy stroke ; why swell'st thou then ?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally,
And Death shall be no more ; Death, thou shalt die.

2006 MOVIES
Hello Jamirotalkers,

I was watching X2 yesterday (yeah, big fan of superhero movies, you may remember). And I thought, which movies of 2006 are you looking forward the most???

For me, I'd say X3, Superman Returns, The Pink Panther, Cars, Scary Movie 4 (yeah sorry, watching it with friends in the cinema was hilarious!!), Mission: Impossible 3, The Da Vinci Code (I want to read the book first, this summer).

Haha I'm sorry, I saw this posters of Scary Movie 4 spoofing the other horror films, and I found them funny:

Hi there,

For the Back To The Future fans about there:

Quote:
Back to More Future?

Even though Michael J. Fox has been pretty much retired from acting for the last decade (with the exception of a few appearances in a couple tv shows and occasionally lending his voice to an animated mouse), it seems he's not opposed to coming back to the franchise that made him a household name. That's right, TEEN WOLF is back! And it's called TEEN WOLF WHO? Clever, huh?

Actually, he's apparently up for another BACK TO THE FUTURE but he doesn't want to come back as the Biff-beating Marty McFly. According to Fox, "the only way it would work would be if I played Doc [Christopher Lloyd's character in the previous three films]. I'm 44-years-old now and I'm not interested in running around on skateboards! I think after 1, 2 and 3 we all kind of felt we had done it. And I think if they did it again now they would do it with a younger cast and just do a different realisation of it, which would be fun." Obviously, you can't replace Doc, especially when he's still around ogling Pam Anderson's rack on the Fox "sitcom" "Stacked". He could, however, as the cool folks at "The Movie Blog" point out, still play Marty who's now a scientist himself and tutoring another skateboarding youngin'. Cool dude Jason, who wrote in to tell us about it, mentioned that he got the info from a radio station in Atlanta. Both that and this Guardian article mention the info originated from Moviehole but I couldn't find that article so if there's a slip-up in credit, it's Jason's fault. He totally threw us off with his delicious-sounding last name.

im a movie freak but i'm very picky, don't really like the big american supermovies, cos they always turn history (specially european) into an all american legend
i love the more honest movies, down to earth like requiem for a dream or the tarantino collection.... shaft n jackie brown.... boogie nights....quills..... sin city .... angela's ashes.... blackball.... me myself n irene.....ah and offcourse the muppets movies.... i am a movie collector and it's neverboring Smile there's too many, can't say wich one i like best Wink
