One question
when I read the subjects posted on this forum, I read in many cases, that the jamirofans like much more the first Jamiroquai era, with Zender, for example.

I have a question: I am a lonely fan who likes more the last records? I like the first albums too (I think that Canned Heat is the best funky song ever made. And Space Cowboy would be one the next world ) Or there are people posting here who prefers the last albums?

I hope you understand me, because my english level is not so high

i wouldn't be giving hate a chance
so for the world that he wants
especially in his paradise blue devil car
time won't wait for
any electric mistress
because when it feels just like it should
i have seven days in sunny june
and he knows how to supply the dynamite
for his talullah
so don't drown it with hot tequila brown

give me back the heaven to hold in my hands

Hi there,

I entered the Jamiroquai fanatism with 'Synkronized'. 'Dynamite' and that album are between the first 2 records in my 'best of' list of all Jamiroquai albums.

I like the last album as much as the first records. But, I have to be honest, every album has something special.

I'm a hardcore fan of the first two albums. They're just perfect!

I love the third album too, just not as much as the first two. It's the first step towards the more disco influenced and commercial sound.

The fourth album isn't bad, but it's also not great. It's yet another step away from the original acid jazz sound.

I do not care for the fifth album much at all, some songs are ok though. But this isn't the real Jamiroquai if you ask me.

The sixth album is definitely better than the fifth in my opinion. But it's far from being the Jamiroquai I prefer.

I still hope for a step in the right direction. Back to the roots so to speak. Time will tell. In the meantime I will keep hunting for bootlegs, promos and other rare oddities from the era I think is the best... the Zender era.

The departure of Stuart was more than unfortunate for the sound of Jamiroquai. The departure of Toby was possibly even worse. I also miss Simon (Katz). Paul, Rob and Matt are good musicians and all, but they do not write or play music like the original members. I still admire them though. Just not as much as I admire the old guys.

I like all the albums from the band... the album that I like least of all of them is A funk Oddysey.... but anyway that album has great songs too for example feels so good, mein vein, and picture of my life...... Now what I think dynamite has got than the other albums dont have is the sound quality... all tracks where recorded live and the band sounds so tight... I mean they sound tight in all their albums but in this one the sound is special.... even though the first three albums have great songs, non of them sound as dynamite does... and that´s a fact.
