Unfortunately I doubt there will be a fourth single now....they're left it too late, February/early March would have been a good time to release it....shame, since Dynamite, BDC, Love Blind and TWW all deserved to be singles |

Hi talkers!!! I'm new in here... I think Fourth single should be Dynamite or Starchild as a second option... |

If you ask me I would put "Time Won't Wait".
That song is absolutely my favourite, unfortunately it's only on the US version
of Dynamite and I doubt it could ever be released as a single. _________________ Too young to die! |

agreed... why not?
"Do you know" was a single and it wasn't in all the releases of TWM, also, it was a track of the TROTSC era... so, why can't TWW be a single?
i can imagine a great video of Jay dancing so much! he doesn't dance with his usual style since "Canned Heat" and TWW is the perfect song!! the other are or too commercial, or too slow for a video... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Besides that the song has a great potential for a dancefloor breaking funky house remix.!!!!
that song makes me go real funky!!! _________________ Too young to die! |

well, but "Do you know" was a collaboration... that's why they released it before the TWM album...
But also, "The kids" was released as a single in Japan, before TROTSC was released. |

I couldn't agree with you most Layo & FunkEducation!!I believe TWW is the best song of the album ( it has something that makes you want the whole album be like that) and Tallulah (kindda Everyday feeling)... but the fact, this album hasn't had much air playing in radio stations and advertising ( the least of all) These songs are commercial and I was just being realistic... In spite of what I liked. But a TWW single would be fantastic!!!

Re: 4th single?

I think a 4th single would barely scrape into the top 40 even if it was 'Dynamite' or 'Starchild'. Sony don't make the singles worth buying if you have the album even for collectors by just shoving remixes onto every release
What about B-Sides and live tracks. Fans would much rather these than remixes which more often than not are never near as good as the original song. Infact most of them are rubbish.

You have a point there, but it's not just Sony. Most singles nowadays feature 1,000 different remixes and nothing else. I do miss b-sides, live tracks, rarities in general. They'd make the single far more interesting to buy. I do like listening to the remixes, but I wish the fans got more from the singles.
I also agree when you say that a 4th single will barely make it into the top 40. I love "Starchild", but don't think it'd go down well as a single. It's not the type of sound that teenagers are used to hearing on the charts these days and they might find it a bit "old" sounding. Unfortunately Jmq have that (wrong) image of always releasing the same old and repetitive disco sound. "Electric Mistress" might be a better choice in that respect, since it's more "modern" sounding. It might appeal more to the masses, who knows? Some people here are suggesting "Time Won't Wait", since it's a bonus track in some countries. Out of all the songs fron Dyn, it's the least "worn down" of them all.
However, I think if there's going to be a 4th single, "Dynamite" will be the track chosen. It's the only song Jmq have consistently played on their world tour + it's the title track. This 2 facts may mean something. |

besides jay saying there won't be a 4th single, the album is coming up on a year old, so after february - i didn't really think we would see another single.
whoever said about it barely scraping the top 40 is correct. plus, it'd be competing with new stuff and 'dynamite' isn't an album really considered new anymore. |
