Jay's done a compilation
Apparently Jay's done a compilation for the LateNightTAles series - Groove Armada and Zero 7 have also done them in the past.
I found out about it on this website www.whoamusic.co.uk
It's basically a selection of tracks that inspired him and looks wicked. Very funk and disco.... now there's a surprise! Rufus & Chaka Khan, The Commodores, Johnny Hammond, Ramsey Lewis.
It's out in November.
Bring it on! |

JK compilation...
Hello everyone, :bm_r:
It's true, it's true, JK has picked out some of his fav oldies for a Jamiroquai edition of "LateNightTales" CD compilation. Here's something weird that happened, I got a e-mail from a rep for Whoa Music (The label that is putting out the compilation) letting me know about the release, he sent me the cover of the CD, and a list of JK's comments on each one of his picks for it. So I created a new page on my site with all of JK's thoughts during my last update, so of them are worth the read, here's a link to the page on my site, I hope you all enjoy it as much as when I was typing it out :

Yes, it will be a great compilation, and the cool thing it WILL be released in the States in early November! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

Hi JamiroFan2000,
LOL Funny, I got this eMail, too. But didn't have the time to put the infos here. Btw, our french friends do have the same information (CD cover, Jay's comments, tracklist, ...) about the compilation on their website since a few days. I guess Whoamusic knows exactly how to promote a new CD! P
Oh, and sorry for scaling down the cover artwork, Jamirofan, but it was in print quality and that's way too big for a forum...
If you want to watch it in a higher resolution, then go directly to frenchiroquai... here is the link:

Btw, amazon.com is announces the release for the 21st October! I don't know if this is the right date for the states...
