'Sir' JK did practically no jumping during the few dance steps that were occasionally thrown in on Thursday night.
He said to begin with that he feared falling 'arse over tit' because the stage was slippy.
I can tell you differently.
The night before I was up there as you can see in the photos, and I purposely went and stood where he would stand, and showed my husband how he paws the stage with his feet like a bull before charging, to warm the soles of his Addidas's giving extra traction.
I did a few acrobactics up there just to see the potentiality. The security guards, who were eating their rice out of a plastic bag at the time, were a little shocked at me frolicking in my black silks. But I had to do a full test and reconnaissance pre-gig.
I was disappointed in 'Sir' JK. He was lethargic, dull, and could have given a much more livelier performance. The crowd didn't really know what to expect, and he guessed that he didn't have to 'live up' to a reputation. The three other Dynamite Tour concerts that I have attended were radically more dancy and jumpy, animated and commentaried.
Never mind, you can't be on your best form the whole time. And as one of the band members was quoted as saying once: 'What's a good gig for one of us, may not have been a good gig for another'.
Even when I met him post-gig, it was obvious that he was very tired, mentally more than physically. He was very subdued and passive. He was very obliging and polite, oh yes, he was decent, and gave me about 15 minutes of his undivided attention, just me and him.
I made some serious requests to 'Sir' JK on behalf of us all. I'm sure that you will all agree with me in what I said and asked in the name of Jamily. I didn't let this opportunity slip, and the boys promised me they will 'follow up' things with him.
Rob named Cosmic Bear, Inaki and Diego too as the 'big fans', I confirmed that they don't come bigger or better. And Derrick freaked when I mentioned Fra !!! He couldn't believe that I said I knew her - who doesn't know FRA ???
It was Jamily bliss !!! _________________ Jamily to the bone !!!

That's great that you met all of them Little H - pity the audience wasn't excited as you were in the crowd, but I'm sure the band would have really appreciated what a great fans you are
Jay sounds the same as he was here in Melbourne, Australia - he didn't do many jumps and was just slightly calmer than normal - but like you said, everyone has good days and bad days and we all know that he didn't go to the press conference cause he said he had 'jet lag' (which could have been any reason really) so hopefully he'll pep up a little once he gets home and revitalises himself
Anyway so glad that you had a great night and that the band knew so many of the Jamily

'Sir' JK was so tired. I won't knock the man. I feel he was far more fatigued than I initially understood. He was so tolerant and kind to the fans that he met post gig.
I admire that despite his stardom he was polite and accommodating, and sincere enough to everyone.
He does carry some of the professional responsibilities that the other band members do not, so he has to worry about his affairs and performance on and off stage.
He's a very nice young gentleman - I hope I didn't intimidate him too much !!! I had to utilize the short time of the opportunity and I'm not a person to beat around the bush or mince my words.
A bit of rest, good food, and sincere loving will have him jumping around soon enough.
And the rest of Jamiroquai are a compentant and rich refuge and inspiration to tap for all his needs, they are nothing short of magnificent - the lot of them.
Perhaps I could give him a funk transfusion to get him through !!! LOL !!! _________________ Jamily to the bone !!!

I so glad to hear that he was nice and had time for the fans, when he obviously was a tired boy - I know that I can be just a tad bit snappy when I'm tired (as I'm sure other people are too) - so, like you said, he has a huge responsibility on and off the stage so I think that it's great that he was still a nice chappy when he was with the fans.
Hope he and the band members get a nice rest and I'm sure JK would be tickled pink for your offer of a funk transfusion lol
