Jason "Jay" Kay, leader and songwriter of the band Jamiroquai, has recently been to Spain to promote his new album "Dynamite", which has a song, "Black Devil Car", dedicated to his black Ferrari Enzo.
Since the launch of the first album in 1993 Jamiroquai have sold more than 20 million albums of their funky music, inspired by the black sound of the 70s and 80s. With this musical influence it isn't strange that the eccentric singer with the impossible dancing would be an afficionado of parties and a certain prohibited substance, or that he didn't hesitate to record a video at the wheel of a convertible Bentley, decked out in a hat and fur coat.
Neither is it out of character that numerous poster girls have passed through the bed of his Buckinghamshire mansion, like the model Jodie Kidd, with whom he had a long relationship. Also there are rumours that Heidi Klum, German model and mother of a son Briatore, was with Jay before marrying the singer Seal. The spectacular Denise Van Outen, his girlfriend for some time, has said that cars excite him even more than sex.
In any case it has to be recognised that he has good taste, also for automobiles. The passion comes from afar, as evidence the sleeve of his album "Travelling Without Moving" (1996), on which appeared a Ferrari badge where the stallion on the yellow background was substituted for the silhouette of Jay with his characteristic buffalo hat. In addition, on this album you can hear the sound of his metallic purple Lamborghini Diablo SE 30th anniversary edition. Unfortunately that car passed to a better life, seeing as a driver wrote it off during the recording of a music video. Since then Jay Kay has lost his license several times for speeding, not strange if he was driving from an Aston DB5 to a Ferrari 355 as if it was an F40. Currently sleeping in his garage are the following models: a white BMW 1602 - his first car -, a red Lamborghini Miura, a fantastic black Maserati A6 CGS Frua - with which he participated in the Louis Vuitton fashion show of 2004 -, a yellow Fiat 1000 Abarth, a metallic grey Ferrari 550 Maranello, the black Enzo mentioned before, a Bentley S1 Continental Coupé and a Mercedes 300 SL Roadster. For daily use he drives an Audi RS6, and in addition he has two other rock star cars: a Mercedes 600 from the 60s - with the plates BNZ 600 - and a new Rolls Royce Phantom with the plates "500 JAM". And thus the musician passes his free time, between explosive girls, smells of the English countryside and his Italian V12s. Recently a magazine asked him if he was thinking of marrying... "Are you mad or what? I'm no idiot. In England when you get divorced the woman gets the house, and I haven't worked all my life to get off the streets and install myself in this mansion to lose it all now". We understand, and the guy even has a kart track.

That's news to me, when did JK have a "long relationship" with Jodie Kidd??
