Well...
...about the band.. generally I think Jamiroquai always had one of the best rythm section in the world /I am sorry that's only "one of the" but I am HUGE fan of Marcus Miller Cool / what I love on Jamiroquai is that they're groovin' sooooooo gooood Wink Another thing is that they CAN PLAY LIVE that's very important thing for me Very Happy
In 1993 I first heard EOPE /I was17/ -my friend gave me the tape and it "nailed "me to the floor and shoot me into space at the same time/sorry for my english .../.I always liked jazz /I still do/and there was something "jazzy".
What next? My favourite songs maybe?Actually I don't have only one/who does? Wink /so...TYTD,Just another story,MrMoon,Use the force,Black Capricorn day, Little L, Canned Heat /that bass !/COTE, Butterfly...and so on
and that's enough from me I have to work Cool
Is there any other music you guys listen to?/except of Jamiroquai/maybe we can discuss...but if there was such a topic before then sorry Embarassed

have a nice day sunny

Yes, I hear Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, some things of Kool & The Gang and I love (really love) `Life On Mars`by Dexter Wansel (In fact, I was trying to get the album, but here in my country is very difficult, you know).

Ok, goodbye!

Life On Mars is one of the songs in the UK version of Late Night Tales. Actually, I have the other version of LNT (3 less songs) and Life On Mars I downloaded from Kazaa because I knew it was on the LTN UK version. If you have the opportunity try to hear it because is a beautiful funky song.
Now I was trying to get `The Promise` the new Earth, Wind & Fire studio album, released in 2003. I hope I can find it.
OK. Bye.

Well, yes. `The Promise` was released I think in may of 2003. And two days ago I bought their previous album, `In The Name Of Love` (modern but still they keep their original sound). Now I`m trying to get stuff from all the artists in LNT (you don`t have it? You should get it RIGHT NOW because is fantastic!).

I already wrote one of my friend who's now living in London to send me LNT /bad experiences with net ordering Sad /
it's a good idea to get albums from other artists some of them were quite huge back in the late 70's and 80's-I don't know if you can remember them you seem much younger than me/.....to me.../ Wink /Ashford&Simpson, Pointer Sisters,Chaka Khan/and Marvin Gaye that's definitely SOMETHING Wink
When I was a kid my dad used to record the American Top 40 so I got to know their songs.........lucky me.........I had great childhood clapping

But you probably will know them ha?when you know EWF....

Well... I am 17 years old, but the thing is that I grew up with that music. You see, my father had the LP of ´Journey Through The Secret Life Of Plants´, by Stevie Wonder, and also a couple of cds of Chaka Khan (he listened also to Jose Feliciano, he has like 4 or 5 cds). When I started to listen lo Jamiroquai (98/99), then I discovered this artists and now I can see that my father listened to them!! Is kind a coincidence.
A few days ago I bought an LP from EW&F and my father couldn´t believe that!! HAHA. So I´m very happy that my dad and I share the same feelings about the music.

And he likes Jamiroquai very much.

I hope that my daugher will also say in 10 years that she grew up with cool music and that she will love the same kind of music!!

Keep on groovin!

Hey!! There is no age for music!!! Music is for everybody. Look, my dad, like I told you, and my friends doesn`t understand why I like so so so much music from late 70`s. I don´t know why either!! Now I discovered Incognito and Roy Ayers. But here is very hard to find this kind of stuff, so I download some songs from Kazaa (`Colibri` and `Sunchild` of Incognito are some of the best songs I heard in a long time). And my mother is 43 and he loves Jamiroquai!!!!! (is not a fan like me, but I listened to it so much ....). So don´t worry about the age, like you said, is just a number.

Keep waiting the new album.......until September?!!!

I know what you're talking about Diego, since I was a kid I've always listened to completely different music as the others of my age. And I was always wondering how come that they don't know Stevie Wonder or Marvin Gaye and all artist we've "talked"about .

Listen Wink you're always saying it's hard for you to get CD's and so...
....I was thinking....maybe I could find some "good old funky stuff"here and after that we could think about how to get it to you.... Rolling Eyes
what do you say?
have a nice day
