The Band checks in with the fans!!!!
 Hello everyone, :bm_r:
Hope all fans had a nice weekend, mine was the typical "Shrug of the shoulders". Anyhoo, looks like the band left a message on The Funkin Site's guestbook wishing all the fans a happy new year while they are now in the studio. Here's the message that was left, "hello all,we're all sitting in the studio between takes browsing the net.just thought we'd say happy new year. Derrick,Sola,Matt,Rob and Alex
THE BAND, UK (chillington), Fri 16 Jan 2004." It was questionable if the message was authentic, but it was confirmed real after Derrick e-mailed David letting him know it was. Derrick also left a message in the guestbook, the message read: "Nice to have aboard the jam ship, in answer to your question we wont be touring till the latter part of this year at the earliest, or early next year, The next album is in process now as i email you. hope you can wait that long but it needs to be right for you guys!!!!!! all the best from all the band. take care.

I think I speak for all fans, much like David elaborated in his news item, in thanking Derrick, Sola, Rob, and Alex for taking the time out and letting the fans know how things are going in the studio. I NOW really think the 6th album will be truly special for all of us, the band and the fans as a whole  ! Thanks for listening and take care everyone  ! Peace!

and i see Nick too, so this picture was shoot during AFO era .... sorry , but i hope there will be trumpets on next album |

Yeah, me too Little C, I want horns, loads of guitars, and for fans sake, the Yiddaki! Sorry to confuse you there, Freddie, that picture is, as pointed out by Little C, is from the AFO era, it was the only Jam studio picture I could find. Peace!

as I recall there isn't saxophone in any AFO-era song...maybe they were rehearsing for a gig? |
