If your daughter is growing up with Jamiroquai ?There's no doubt about it I've got a daughter she was 4 this summer and she likes it too/in her special way/and I am quite happy about it 'cause when I sometimes listen the music "kids should"listen to /in the kindergarten and so/it makes me.................sick!yeah sick
And don't you think that it will be funny when in/let's say 40years .../we will be groovin' still ...like...
" funky grandmas"
I 'm kinda looking forward on it
How old is your daughter,by the way?

Hi Basia,
grrrr with my computer at home I'm not able to write an answer!!!
My daughter is 8 and she likes Jamiroquai very much - I always hear it in the car and we both are singing and grooving
But like almost all kids at her age she also likes these teenie crap like Star Search and German Idol.... I really hope that it's just a phase...
Oh yes I intend to be a funky grandma - but don't remember me of my age.... I feel much younger

Hi Butterlfy

pls let's forget that age thing last thing I have to say that/and that's what one friend of mine told me yesterday:"Your daughter is growing but you haven't changed at all."kinda nice
But I wanted to tell you ,especially, because of your nick here ,what a crazy thing happened to me with "Butterfly in June".
I travel to work by train /always discman with Jami in my ears /and I completely forget about the world around ,only enjoying music .An old man sat opposite me and after a while he asked:"May I interrupt?I just want to say that it must be very good music you are listening to.Is it?"I said yes and I told him it's Jami and /guess what!!! /he replied:"Isn't it that funny little man with that hat?My granddaughter listens to such a music".It swept me off my feet/ actually I was sitting so there was no place to be swept /!but I was shocked !
He get off on the next station wished me a lucky day.....
oh!Do I have to say that I was listening to Butterfly in June?
see ya:)
did you experienced something similar?
B
....you knew which nick to choose..........
kinda long answer, sorry I am in work and have a little time for myself... |

Yes, I love this song and it's a nice nick name - I always think of a summer meadow with lots of flowers and bees and butterflis on it and I almost smell the flavour of hay...
Your story is unbelievable!!! What a cool grandpa You're so right with this age-thing!!! I just don't think about my age (at least I try it!!)
I never experienced something like that - it's a great story!!!
I'm also in the office now and have a bit time!! Talking about Jamiroquai makes the working day so much easier!!!
It's snowing like hell here - I hate winter!!! |

we could suggest a time and make our "office days"nicer
we are in the same time zone I think....

well,
it's "slovakisch"
ok we can use that personal e mails and if you want to have some fun ich kann in deutsch schreiben /wie ein 10jahriges Kind/und sie haben mir die "deutsche keybord"nicht installiert /weil das hier eine englishe Firma ist
Well had fun?
But if you wouldn't mind -I understand german pretty well but I've got problems with writing/as you can see/so what if you'd write in german and me in english?
have a nice day
and to that my previous experience with BIJ I've got some more. It's happening to me /I don't know how/that when I like a band or a singer that STRANGE THINGS are around me /for example with Sting but about that tomorrow/I have to work/in private e mail |

Oops, I don't want to destroy your illusions, Brent, but I was the one who created the "Meadows-Account", sorry. But the password is on its way to the boys just in case they want to leave a message here. And then we could be sure that they are real. Keep your fingers crossed that this will happen one day!!!
Btw, it is snowing here in Germany now...
Bye,

Oops...
Hello again, :bm_r:
Oops, my bad , I guess those new messages from the band have me a little too gitty and excited, thus spilling over into my mental state, thanks for letting me and everyone else know . I will also have my fingers crossed that the boys leave a message too. Peace! (Note to self: Only jump to conclusions about band members registering on JamiroTalk.net ONLY when JK posts...hehe)
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Thanks for welcoming me here ,Jamirofan2000
Messages from Derrick are great! I can't wait untill the new album will be released!/I'm so "impatient"
I had such a great saturday night. My friend owns a little place and she invited a DJ to play there. He was good /mixed old Astur Gilberto with drum and bass or played old Massive Attack/
and suddenly Butterfly in June came on We danced like crazy.I was sooo hapyyyyy..not everyone would choose BIJ.
and after that I gave him Jami CD's /always with me I'd die in train on my way home from work /and we went through EOPE, ROTK and FAO.ended about 4:30 in the morning all screaming"All right"
It was so cool
Wish you all could be there
nice day/s/
