Please sign the petition! - Justice for Naomi
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to bring into public awareness a terrible case of animal cruelty. A nine-year-old cat, who was only slightly ill, was admitted into a government animal clinic in Malaysia. She came out dead just days later. The cause of death: sheer neglect. The animal was locked up in a small cage and not given ANY food or water during her stay there. You can read about the case in detail in the link below.
If you feel strongly about this, then please lend your voice to the petition and help spread the word. Only your name (and your IC number if you're Malaysian) is all I request for. Once I get a significant-enough number signatures, I'll be printing it all out and posting it to the Malaysian Department of Veterinary Services as well as the major papers.

I signed it.
Those sick pieces of shit called 'veterinarians' can go to hell. Sure - it was a mistake, but it could've been avoided. But no... Just because animals can't speak doesn't mean they aren't living creatures. I myself would lock the doctors in an elevator for... Er... A very long time. And would keep them inside until a one of them dies. Then I'd let them out - if I'd be in a good mood.
I have nothing else to say. |

Official reply
Hello everyone,
To those who signed the petition, I'd like to update you on what's been happening.
I received a response from a goverment official, and now there are two sides of the story.
To read the letter, as well as the rebuttal which the cat owner has made to it, visit this link:
http://retardationation.blogspot.com/2006/07/naomis-death-aftermath.html
I'm glad I managed to reach the right person, and to receive a letter back, let alone in such depth, is an amazing thought.
Thanks to all who have supported the petition!
Kind regards,
Davina |
