Thanks everyone!! It's very special to know that there are people around the world thinking of me on my birthday!! Thanks so much!!!
I had a wonderful day. My party was a big hit - they applauded my very good organisation of the party - they loved my selfmade international food (german, italian, argentinian, ukrainian). I have decorated everything with those 4 mini flags and footballs, we made a prize competition - they had to guess the number of goals, the results and the goal scorers... we had a big screen on the wall, the weather was great... of course we were lucky because Germany has won the match. When the first goal for Argentina was made, I suddenly realized what kind of risk I was running...  ... I realized that my party would be spoiled if Germany would lose the match... the atmosphere was quite dumped after that goal... but in the end we had the penalties which were a big excitement and highlight for the day.
A friend of mine said near the end of the party: "Meike, thumbs up! What a great party - you have organised everything so well, the food, the decoration, all those little ideas you have put in,... perfect!"
And I said: "Yeah, and even Germany has won! Guess what a high price I had to pay to ensure this!!! I am a good organiser!! "
So, Argentinian fans ...blame it on me... it was all part of my party plans...!! 
Thanks everyone... I had a great day, and now... I will focus 100% on Rotterdam!! 13 days...  ... I already appologize in advance if I will be nerve-racking the next 2 weeks...

Great Meike!!! How wonderful! Sounds like you had a terrific time ! This explains why I haven't seen you much on here lately - well, as they say, hard work does pay off 
Glad you had a good time, sounds like a great party!
