does any one know if camcorders will be allowed at the concert? I imagine since this is going to be such a rare event, it will probably be filmed. Could this be the second live DVD everyone has been waiting for???

yeh, good point.
would be cool if someone can record the Mark Ronson thing too! _________________ Bass Transcriptions coming soon! |

I asked about cameras further up the thread a couple of weeks ago, and nobody answered, so I'm assuming no-one's sure. For what it's worth, in the UK it normally tells you on the ticket if cameras won't be allowed in the venue - and it doesn't say anything about them on my Love Box ticket, so I reckon we're OK. Put it this way - I'm taking my camera. And it's neither small enough to hide (SLR size) nor cheap enough to replace if it gets taken off me, so I'm fairly confident we'll be fine.
The excuse they normally give is flashes distracting the performers for indoor gigs. And since this is outdoors, that shouldn't be a problem!
Anyone who was at B-Live last year have any ideas, though? Just to be on the safe side...

CAMERA ANSWER
I contacted the lovebox people about a few things. I asked them about cameras, outside food/water, will call, and needed volunteers. My comments are in the (parenthesis). Here are thier answers to all:
Hi Deesha
Thanks for your email...
Cameras & camcorders - these are permitted but at your own risk (I think they mean the risk that it could be damaged, not the risk of it will be taken by security).
Water & food - unfortunately not food or drink is permitted apart from sealed bottles of water (side note: this surprises me since it's sponsored by Volvic...I would think they'd make you buy their water there).
Will Call - this will open at midday (you people that have tickets waiting...take note).
Volunteers - i'm not sure about this but i believe we're always looking for
helpers. I will forward your email address to the person at Lovebox who deals with staffing. (If anyone wants to go and can't afford to - and obviously lives in London, let me know and I'll forward you info that gets forwarded to me. Most likely you'll have to volunteer during the day before Jamiroquai comes on. They have different volunteer jobs, so you could get something easy if it's still available..like taking tickets at the door. Or since it's soon, you could be stuck with emptying garbage or something - but you'd get to see the show and you might even get backstage - who knows )
Regards

That's kind of mean, Dyego I was driving my husband crazy yesterday! . I can have a good laugh now though. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is!!
By the way, Meike, I think the banner is great

My friend just sent me an sms from Brighton in the UK, apparently it is SIZZLING there, so lots of water will be needed for the day.
As Freaky said, the security man did not allow me to hang the flag over the side, because of the security steps. Hopefully, Meike can hang her banner...otherwise we will just hold it in the air. Nice banner Meike btw!!!
Not long to go now....eeeek! |

I live just 45 minutes from Brighton so I can confirm that we had temperatures of 31c today. We're expecting some thunderstorms mid-week and then it's due to warm up once again! Plenty of water will be needed on Sunday, that's for sure!
