This day was simply amazing. After missing my first flight, having my second flight cancelled, waiting at the airpot 12 hours for flight #3 to later check into the hotel from hell, it was all worth it! It was incredible to be at Victoria Park at 7:45 am! After all that drama, nothing but the front row would have been enough It was great meeting all the members of the Jamily. You are all such lovely people! I am not going to try to review the gig. I just want to say it was one of the most amazing concerts ever! Stillness in Time, If I Like It..., Soul Education, what else can I say? The guys rocked! Though the entire concert was off the hook, one of my favorite parts was seeing Stuart watching the band and cheering them on! I was pleasantly surprised too by Mark Ronson's band. They were really great inspite of the fact that they only sang covers. My man Stuart has still got it!! Thanks again to all the Jamily for the wonderful time. You are all really great and its good to feel part of such a dedicated, wonderfully thoughtful community. I hope we can do this again soon! Deesha and Chena: Uchena and Joyce, BJ and Tyler, and Chip and Kim aint got nothing on us! What an adventure! OK.. I arrived in Rome yesterday and I slept many hours tonight..I needed!!!!! Now I'm ready to write something about the gig and to show you some pics..

WARNING : this is going to be detailed… SATURDAY Although i was soooo afraid of flying my friend marleen and me arrived in london alive! J At first we went to Bond Street.There I wanted to meet jan to get my tickets.. I was standing in front of the tube station with my mobile phone in my hand..i couldn´t reach anybody… suddendly jan and deesha were coming towards me …I couldn´t believe my eyes.. saffy, nina ,sheena and some others were already here also..we stayed at this café to wait for the others to come… This situation was one of the most emotional ones for me…a circle of about 10 people were standing over there…It was impossible to walk..I had to RUN over to them..MEIKE !!! Then I had a look around me..this was so surreal… My first conversation with STEFAN : Stefan :”U look so small!!!” Sandra : “I AM small!!!” Haha… JEROEN ,LINDA and NATALIE built the dutch corner in the circle..FRANCESCA and her GIANLUCA,JANLUKA with his cool keith haring shirt and some other italian girls…I didn´t know where to go first…RACHAEL…it was so good to meet u! ANNA was standing with her back to me and when I touched her on the shoulder she screamed so loud that I was really shocked for a moment..haha.. UNITED now we went to another pub …( lee still not here..don´t know..he somehow couldn´t find us) we ordered to drink and to eat and I put on my white jamirotalk net t-shirt to get the signature of all this lovely people around me..SAM, LEE,ROMAIN and EZBE found the way to us too..and some other persons ..i didn´t have the overview MEIKE!! Love ya!!! Meike marleen and I finally found our way home to the city hotel…what a wonderful room we had…we had a kitchen a living room wow….but we just were looking for the bed .. I felt asleep 1.30… SUNDAY I woke up 4 am..shock the excitement was so big that I couldn´t sleep anymore.. Marleen and I started our sightseeing tour through london at 6.30…9.15 we were already near the victoria park…(sorry marleen I know u wanted to see more but I just had to be there as early as possible ) After 45 minutes of walking we joined the others (this park is really big) Meike shared bubbles with us…so nice of u..but u will always have the bubble credits!!! We haven´t eaten anything yet so we left the jamily for some time to find something to eat…on our way back I heard “soul education”… SOUNDCHECK TIME!!..marleen found this gate E and meant we just can go in there…we went towards the stage…this was super strange..around us the festival crew , people collection rubbish, security people ..all busy..and not paying attention to us… matt ,rob, sola, paul,derrick,the girls with their sheets in the hands. they were playing parts of electric mistress and virtual insanity…I had to wave up there! but I tried to contain myself that we are not thrown out…we decided to go back to the jamily then..this was just feeling too strange About 11.30 we made 5 queues..the jamily ready to run! The security man in our queue was quite funny..right natalie??hehehe.. Nina´s ticket and mine were scanned first to test the “scan machines” (?). jeroen gave some instructions where to run… The gates opened…we had to show our bags and then the race began…one time we had to slow down because the security didn´t allow us to run…but as soon as we passed them..nobody could stop us anymore and I was very proud to be 4 th of all who reached the first row… jeroen,janluka and zed(?) got gold silber and bronce We saved all the place for the jamily…aaaaaaaaaaa FRONT ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From this moment on..there was nothing else to do than waiting dancing smiling waiting drinking dancing having fun waiting waiting… . deesha u are the power in person by the way!!!it was so cool to meet u ! Anjing wore his cool hat..hihi..and i also met southern son! was a pleasure! sometimes I thought time goes by so slowly..but in fact the evening was here very soon…some bands were really not bad ..and I enjoyed jimmy cliff a lot… 8.26. pm…4 mintes left!!! I am sure jeroen will put a good analyse of the gig so I will leave this part out… Just a few pics.. This guy with the pink cape caught jay´s attention …he was allowed to stay on stage during “alright”… meike´s bubbles Stefan – he looks happy somehow..by the way..thanks for protecting from the second row!! and to protect me from myself...sometimes his hand on my shoulder reminded me to calm down a bit Afterward the gig we splitted…meike and the others went with david and sharon to have “dinner”..and the rest of us went with tube together to “angel”..my feet were hurting a lot at this time…but there was nothing left to do but walk walk walk…all went perfectly.. anna ! u can be so proud!! we arrived in the club and some minutes later david and sharon… Deesha did a fantastic speech!!(Deesha u are the power in person by the way!!!it was so cool to meet u) The party was just great…I don´t know how we still could dance after that day… Anna and Darthbuzz..his 38th gig..AMAZING! FRA is just a sunshine!! U are the only yellow signature on my shirt my the way Jeroen… Scherz….thanks for all the fun… DAVID! WHAT A NICE AND LOVELY MAN!!!finally i could meet hime Jay Kay´s shoe…very much appreciated hehehe 1.30…we had to say goodbye…not easy.. THANK U ALL!!! JAMIROQUAI AND JAMILY !!! wow what a review and great pics Sandra! it's a pleasure to read how beautiful has been to meet one each other and share a wonderfull weekend togheter! and the gig! I love the pics u made, specially the one of J! and even if I wasn't there I'm starding to get names and faces togheter too! The picture of the link u posted, the one with the flag WE ARE JAMILY is just fantastic, the flag itself is fantastic! It's great to read all your stories, so I thought I'd give some of my memories of the day. We didn't get to the park until about midday and spent some time wandering around savouring the atmosphere and some of the other acts and attractions. The whole event was really well organised and had something for everyone. Even so, we were still just waiting for the MAIN EVENT later in the day. We got our spot near the front just before The Feeling came on (about 2 'rows' back from what I now know is the Jamily) . I thought The Feeling were quite good and was pleasantly surprised. Next up The Bees who, I thought, got better as their set went on. We were standing right next to the bunch of guys who wanted a song about a chicken. I didn't quite know how to take it but they seemed pretty happy when they played it. Boisterous but harmless - they were enjoying themselves. Jimmy Cliff - a legend and still good. Disappointed that he didn't play The Harder They Come (yes I'm old enough to remember it!). Then the wait was worth it. Don't Give Hate A Chance - what a way to start the show! Whole set was great. No Virtual Insanity but Hot Tequila Brown made up for it. Jay and the band were on form and a good mix of songs from different periods. We saw the shoe-catching. Very envious (in Dubai, though, we managed to get half of Jay's towel and one of his water bottles). Always a shame it has to end, the crowd (at least) could have gone on for hours! A great day.

So many tears I cried..... to quote Lenny......"it aint over til it's over" ok....MsP and Steffenfunk (btw...mouse can you reset Steve's password - he can't remember his log-on or user name!!!!) reporting in.......from PRAGUE!!!!!! geez.....gosh.....what more superlatives can we use?????? In internet Cafe so gonna cut this short (msp? short??? no way!) Seeing Stuart Zender was the most unfortgettable experience gig-wise for me - seeing Stu at the front - literally 5ft away from me - in the press section - dancing to Jamiroquai, clapping - shouting out words to Jay- supporting him - THAT was THE most memorable part of the gig - unbelievable. Steve (Steffenfunk) was there in there old days, he saw Zender live, NEC 96, but for me, I'm "new school" - I want to be part of the gang who saw Zender and Toby - I missed it - Sunday's gig was near on perfect in seeing the old faces - seeing Zender support Jay was fucking mental. Being with the Jamily again was brilliant.....Steve realised this weekend just what our vibe was all about, and he thanks each and every one of the Jamily for welcoming him into our circle.....YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT NO-ONE ELSE CAN GIVE....to quote"You Give Me Something" .........that's the Jamily spirit. Darling Claire is gonna put my review up for me, I'll load to disc as no internet at home, I'll be back online in the winter - BUT feel free to email me at work - I work for the government and have to be careful with internet - I would spend all day on here!!!!! x Jamily - I love you all - you are in my mind, I'm not gonna type your names - I would get the order wrong - and don't wanna put anyone foremost!!!!!! Being there with you all - ALL securing that front row - GOD that was crazy - Don't reckon there's been a gig like it. One last word..SAM......SAMIROQUAI......Where were you???????? you done so well to get everyone to the party - me and Steve thought you'd been upducted by The Bees fans!!! (christ were they shite or what????) - BUT we have been worrying about you non-stop - you disappeared!!!! THANK You for all the photos....sorry that I dumped Bear...each gig new guy, you know the score!!!!!! Missed Heather unbelievably.....but we ALL thought of her, we did a big cheer and clap for her on Saturday night, she was mentioned on Sunday night in Deesha's speech - thank you Heath for your organisational skills and being you. xxxx Review to come over and out..... Steve now... well....wot can i say?wot an unbelievable and unforgettable experience for me personally....'MsP' has always mentioned u all b4....but i never thought id enjoy being in such a good vibe zone with u all...such a friendly,funky bunch of funky and friendly people....may there be many more to come....at the mo,we're in prague and lookin 4ward to goin a bar later where the peeps there hav promised 2 play us 'funk odyssey' album...but i intend to put sneak my 'cosmic ride' cd on whilst there providing us with beer...heehee...(NOT fish and chips tho!)...anyway,thank u everybody,ur all fantastic....it really meant a lot to me....im crying now...... Mr Mardy was being silly!!!! he's drinking beer and smiling!!!!!! he meant all of it...but not cyring!!!! okay.....my ending....Nina (Froken Froyd) I love you....so glad to meet...GABS.....after being your "english mum" for 5 years....well...what can i say, love you doc.....KEEP STUDYING WE NEED A DOC IN THE JAMILY!!!!!, Romain - you're wicked (STEVE WANTS YOUR TRAINERS!) - you're a cool guy, and so HAPPY to dance properly with you - immediate bond - UNCLE FRA - love you and I love my NEW BAMBINA - Allessia (I CANT SPELL!!!) Anna, THANK YOU XXXX........... Brilliant experience.......Meike - you gonna put up a special section for reviews still?????? I have stuff to say, may be a little controversial about the gig this time.... THE JAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!! bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! btw.....me and Steve have been together for 4 months.....we first made love after the gig.........delete this bit it you like my wonderful mouse, BUT hehe............I couldn't end a semi-review with mention of orgasmatic times (cr.
