I remember....somethin about funkin first....and then...I couldn't get no satisfaction...because...I was jones'n...for more...and I had to drive someone crazy about it...and so...I found you guys...and now...it's all over.

I am deeply indebted to Cosmic Girl (Switzerland), our dear friend Susanna (Um Speedy) who quite matter of factly gave me the link in an email.
I registered on Janary 4th 2004, but sadly I didn't post that much for about eight months. And sadly I don't post as much as I would like to. There are threads here that are very important and enriching about real Jamiroquai topics.
I used to feel a bit shy here, although I was already an established and frequent poster on JTALK (RIP/F). I was made very welcome, and felt quite humbled by how everyone who were regular posters here did make me feel 'at home'. (Thank you Meike, Stephan, Yvie and all.)
I think this is now the official site, in all but name. It seems that the old school of serious Jamiroquai fans now live here. And like the place where we 'come home to'. We are lucky to have a choice of other lively Jamiroquai sites in the English language now, but Jamirotalk remains unrivalled in it's aristocratic status.
Happy Jamily viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiibes to you all.

 Hello,
I really understand your take Heather, we all go through some kind of reluctancy to post on a forum and stick to the "lurker" position for a while . But then we swallow our pride and join the posting craze and in the end, start alot of fun discussions, make invaluable friends and become a part of the band, live and otherwise. I still sometimes find great music forums where I MUST stay in the background till I have gotten my bearings. Thanks for listening and Peace!

I was bored in my room, looking for jamiroquai information, photos or videos, and then, 2 hours later, I found an international forum called Jamirotalk. The rest is history. |
