It's sad to hear that you are so dissappinoted with the conert the blues . I'm sure the guys had their reasons, and as you say the weather wasn' t on top and the surrounding was dirty and horrible. But it's still a shame they didn't make a better a impression, cause to many other people that might have been their first and perhaps last JMQ concert Confused .

thanks for posting pics susannah!

dang anna about the crowd - you are better than me - i don't play that mess. i woulda been thrown out for clocking someone on the head - it's not right, but sometimes violence is the answer (i'm half joking Smile ).

i don't get it - why people consume loads of alcohol on a HOT ass day especially if you're going to be standing under the sun all day. that's just common sense really Rolling Eyes as i said at lovebox when dude was carried out - what a dumbass...how the hell are you going to pay for a show, get completely trashed and then pass out? that shit is not cute!

i really really dont like what u have said here!

what kind of a fan are u? seriouslly...

good i hope u dont listen to jamiroquai again!

Sometimes I really get the impression you read things you want to read.

I am not disappointed because of the fact that we could not go there, it was because of the fact, that they first told us we could go and let us waiting and then it was not happening. How would you feel then? If you had been there, you would probably see that differently. Why are you always that offensive?

Deesh, I was standing there, and thought "I could kick the sh*t out of this guy and get thrown out, or I can call Security" Wink If I wasn't standing there for the past 9 hours, I would have beaten him until he and I were black and blue. Violence is definately not the answer, HOWEVER Wink it is when needs must! LOL!!!!

I wasn't scared of him at all, I was scared of myself, because I was SO angry, I would have seriously beaten the sh*t out of that a**hole.

There were so many kids at this place, it was nasty! Nasty nasty nasty people - "they ain't got no style!"

@ Catman

Just wanted to tell you: Go and read what CG wrote on jamirox about the backstage thing. But you would not offend her, would you?

And by the way, I was always here, I just did not post for a long time.

I just think it is sad how you are shouting around. It is not a mature behaving, is it.

I don't like you, you don't like me and I think it is ok like that.

Magda

PS: I surely won't leave this place because you do not like to see me here.

I would like to say one thing regarding the backstage saga. Some people would like to meet the band for many reasons. If you know that you will meet the band after a gig, and then in turns out you don't, then that is definately a disappointment for most people.

It's like really looking forward to meeting a friend, or someone's company you really like, and they turn around at the last minute and say "I can't meet you". Same thing really, no-one likes to be let down. And this was not a tentative meeting, it was definate. Am sure that no-one would pass on meeting the band, given half the chance. We have to respect that something else happened for them to have to leave/not grant us access.

We did not meet the band after Lovebox, but the concert was terrific for lots of reasons! It was the show, the atmosphere, perhaps the weather and the place was nice, there was no trouble (only a couple of annoying people).

And people say the British are aggressive!!!!!!! That has to be a joke!

..and finally i got a little bit time to say what's in my mind after these last 3 days spent in Switzerland..

My holiday started with the first surprise, Cisalpino trains are really expansive!!.. after 4hrs travelling, i arrived in Zurich, an interesting town but i needed just 3 hrs to see it whole.. During my little tour, I met Sandra, and then a dinner in a MacDonald's where i heard 'Time Won't Wait' when i was connected with Jamirotalk.. and then, in my hotel, near the University.

A nice Hotel, really.. and the next morning i started for my adventure at 8.10 for Wil, and at 9 i arrived at the shuttle bus for the last travel. And finally i was there!!.. great!.. but someone got me strange.. firstly, the Area, not a good partition of the sections: the Camping without a wc, the ticket office so far away, the checkpoints with 2 people.. and i stop myself here. So, after i took my VIP ticket (150 fs, about 100€..), i went to the show place, and there i started to understand what a big error i was living. Yes, I was understanding that festival was an error, while i looked at the people here, a lot of alchool smell, vomit, disgusting.. i took my place in the centre of the first row, then i waited for something.. yes, it seemed doesn't happening anything. No people, no music. Everithing but a festival. The first people i saw was the first group, Prakesh.. and in a quarter of an hour some boys and girls come there, so away from the transenna. No heat, no participation, just to see.. and it was so all the morning, since midday when started a Newcomer Competion. And it was the moment i saw Anna arriving there!! somersault good spinsmile 2bouncy
Fantastic, Wonderful, Great Anna!!.. with a big surprise: a pass for the Backstage after the gig (thanks to Derrick)..

And it become a loooooong waiting, seeing how horrible was the artists' selection, soooooooooo different between themselves, different sounds, different music, different audience.

The only thing was a soooooo hot sun, and while CosmicGirl and Cheecat arrived there, finally i started to see that mysterious 'VIP Area', because i wanted to understand why i payed 65 fs more than the 'normal ticket (85 fs). Just 15 minutes to understand that with that ticket we got the access for an area where was a table and a toilet. Really. Confused

Hours seemed not to come, and after all that hot sun, a little rain saved us.. and in a few moments it became night. And there started our horror experience.

Bright, Dada Ante Portas started to play its music, but a strange people came.. Anna and Magda described what we are feelings, it was so terrible.. and when Skye started to perform, time seemed not to move. So sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowly.. Only in the last two tracks i recognised the Morcheeba singer, but it was too late. In fact a lot of water started to fall, and.. really, the one in Verona seemed just a summer rain.. and also if we were totally soaked, it was nothing respect to the hateful people what was pushing to see Juli. The rain continued to fall, Anna and I felt not right to be here. Our reactions became to be without control against stupid and rude people. I didn't feel good. But Thank to Anna I decided to be there, and finally July finished her performance. And some impolite people went away.

Then Jamiroquai. But this is another story. Just Another Story.

Hey Cosmic Girl!

Thanks for the greetings, send him some back! Very Happy

Isch en Arsch i mine Auge.)

Hey and thank you for putting up those pictures, love them! Very Happy

I am sorry that so many of you were disappointed at the performance, the ambiance, and your inability to get backstage after being promised a meeting with the guys. I understand how you might be upset, but I do hope that this doesn't turn you off from the band or any future concerts. We need to remember that we all have good days and bad days. Maybe this was just one of their bad ones. Ok, so it sucks that they closed their tour on a bad note, but shit happens. Not everyone shows up to work every day of their lives bright-eyed and bushy tailed. There are some days your train is late, you miss the bus, you burn your toast or your boss is being an asshole and things get thrown off. I hope that those of you who had to live through this nightmare in Switzerland are able to recuperate and that this bad experience doesn't change your view of the guys...

Much love y'all...
