Same feelings here!
I already put our Jamily-photos from this day up my wall. The Adidas-Shoe-Connection-Pic immediately threw off questions..
Where is Sandriche, I miss her posting here? Is she busy? |

Reading these reviews...my heart goes out to you guys.
And janluka..i feel so guilty
What can i say that has not been already said?
Hope that the band will shine in future gigs.
btw..i do know what say.
Would it have killed him to smile?
He is a performer, that is his job...and being a little kid and taking it out of the fans
Think his mother should whoop him back in shape!!!
Last week was super hard on me, i wanted to quit on wednesday...but i was still laughing and smiling on thursday and friday..and today again.
And we don't just do 1.5 hours...do we???
So is it to much to ask, we want to be entertained.
We support the band in good and bad times, all we ask in return...is a good gig! _________________ May you always feel the wind on your face and the waves on your toes |

Hello, guess who's back...

| Second thing, they were in a bad day, ok, but we just CAN'T get angry with the band for just one bad performance (or a frustrated backstage). They did a great great job during this Dynamite tour, I think it was a lot better than the AFO one. |
Mate, that has to be the stupidest thing ever said by someone on this board.... ever.
The Dynamite tour sucked, Jay didn't do a good job, the album sucked, the performances regressed from the AFO era, and you're saying they were better? Open your eyes and your ears.

..but it's so difficult to understand that the feelings after Tufertschwil 'against' Jamiroquai perform have a lot of origins..
Ok, I try to exclude the 'backstage' matter. Then? What we listened?.. A tired band and a so angry singer.
But being a 'fan' means to say ever 'what a great perform, Jay rocks, the boys were fantastic'?.. Surely my judgement in not objective (after 6 Dynamite gigs, i got some differences since the first..) but..
i think there's nothing of strange to say 'Tonight they didn't excited me as usual..', it was the same in Trani. So i don't understand this commom positions against the people there that is saying just that we wanted more, not only an enough show played with a script in the backstage. Like a Theatre.
It's a sin to say I didn't like their last show?.. I saw a band staying on the stage as because they HAD to stay there.
It seemed a farce.
Like the VIP Area.
..but i'm curious to know how you're so sure that a show could be was 'amazing', 'decent', 'blast', 'explosive' just reading the tracklist. With SAME begin, the SAME tracks, the SAME order, the SAME ideas, the SAME end. _________________

i feel a bit better so i can write a short review of what i have experienced in switzerland..
i arrived at the festival arrea at half past nine pm and got my vip ticket...it started raining very heavily..i had a look at the vip area and then tried to find my friends..as there were already many people i didn´t assume i can make it first row again...but i was lucky and while "juli" was performing i first reached anna and janluka..seeing their faces shocked me a bit..i didnt´know what has happened..it was also so loud that we hardly could talk..the people were very much pushing..didn´t take care of the other people..
u must have been freezing so much..i had two jackets and have just arrived and started shaking..
after a short while i recognised magda and buffel not far away...it´s always so good to get to know new faces
in front of me there were 2 little girls..with my psychologic skills i managed to get their places in front row..
then the moment has come.."enter the dragon"..
from the first moment on i felt that it the vibes are a bit..different as we are used to. looking at rob matt and paul gave me the energy to continue having a bit fun..of course we were dancing and having fun...at sometimes i thought.."hmmm when will the next song come.." at some momentes i felt "bored"..
the performance was not spectacular...my highlights were exchanging smiles with rob matt and paul... paul was a shining star.
the solos of them all were good as always..but generally speaking the concert was not really spectacular..jay seemed to count the songs until it is over...for sure he had a black capricorn day... i also had the feeling that the communication between them all was not the best..
*the boys part started.*
*jay went back*
*jay came in front to microphone again *
*waited until the band finished their part*
*then started singing again*
jay had to leave the stage several times to give instructions because the sound was bad...perhaps they should try to get a new sound technice team...i know from a friend who stayed at the vip area that u hardly could hear jay singing...the backgroundsinger were much louder.
the festival itself was bad organised...at least the setlist...how can u put juli jamiroquai and scooter together??? ...i was afraid of that before..either the music nor the fans fit together...hopefully many people will complain about that so that they won´t do the same mistake again next year...i paid around 125 euros for the ticket...and when i wanted to enter the vip area at about 1 am..it was already CLOSED!!!...
discussing all that stuff while waiting for the train was kinda healing..if u have so much emotions it´s good that u can exchange your thoughts with your friends...thx anna and janluka...we had kinda fun didn´t we??..hahha..vip - a table and a toilet..
magda..i am so glad i got to know u..u are such a lovely (and cute) person
thanks for managing my hair
thanks suzanna for caring about as all..i was lucky and didn´t get a lungenentzündung..and..i really love your dialekt..hihi
thank u all for singing my jamirotalk shirt., i won´t stop hoping that jamiroquai will sign it one day..
see u all next time...let´s keep the good memories..there were a lot of funny and nice momentes too.. i will keep them and try to forget the rest.
if u look back it´s in fact not so tragic anymore as when u are in middle of the happening.
i am glad i waited to write my review... otherwise u get a tooo negative picture.
i remember the photographers in london..they were taking pics all time...in switzerland they only were allowed to take pics during the first songs..then they all had to go..not one of them were in the area before us..only the bodyguards who were very strict with everybody who had any kind of camera in his hand...
i really would be interested how the band experienced this evening...
and why was it so important that they perform at this really weird festival??? ...were they forced to play there? can´t they discuss about the places they play?
music business must be hard...
i feel very sorry for all the fans who only come for the concert , because it was disappointing...
i feel sorry for jamiroquai that they had to quit that tour with a concert like that
i hope they have a relaxing holiday , getting new energy and free minds for the next tour! _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |
