Not sure how alive this thread is anymore, but I must let out my first time meeting Jay.
The band had finished the November 5th, 2006 concert in San Francisco and I eagerly awaited next to the backstage bouncer to see what was going to happen. I argued with the numb-skull for like 20 minutes and turned around to give up. All the sudden I hear "where'd you get my jacket mate?" (was wearing a white blazer with a black buffalo man sewn on the back) and turned around to see a shirt-less Jay peering out of the curtains backstage. Without a second thougt, and to my dismay, I grabbed my Jay Kay shoe (the Oregon's) and asked him to sign it. He looked around and quickly grabbed it and signed it twice. Im looking forward to seeing them again! |
