Yes, of course is a big expectation for us. In fact, everytime they release an album and he says that, it makes me feel more anxious.
THIS TIME I HOPE IS TRUE. |

We've heard that one from JK before, haven't we? The first three were bonafide successes, but the last two have been, in comparison, commercial slides. Let's hope they've learned their lesson; in my opinion, a lot more is riding on this album than some people may realize at first glance. Shoot the Moon is awesome, so I'm thinking that's gonna be on it. I've also read something about Black Devil Wife being really fast-paced with the live drums. But those are only two of them. I'm anxious to see how this turns out, especially here in America. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. I have a question for all the american fans:
What would you prefer, a very really good album (the funkiest disco thing that nobody has done ever) but no comercial (the band wouldn´t get money, it would be too alternative for the very big majority of the people) so they woudn´t go to the States) or a non so good comercial album( so they can get loads of money and the band would be able to go to the states?) |

Interesting question!
Hello again, :bm_r:
That's a good question Snorry, but I'm hoping both things happen. Yeah, I know I flip-flop on this topic as much as John Kerry, but I want Jamiroquai to have a great album that embodies their old sound (I'm kind of sick of the neo-Jamiroquai dance sound, aren't you??), does great sales here in the States and the give the States fans a much deserved, wider tour. Not just hit the big cities on the tour, come to the moderately sized cities outside of the spectrum of the Big Cities (Would it kill JK and the Boys to play Richmond, VA for once??). But I assure you, I know this 6th album will be special, a much deserved tip of the hat musically who have followed Jamiroquai all these years! Yeah, the old sound may confuse some young fans, but at least it might help move more EOPE & ROTSC units to their virgin ears ! Thanks for listening and Peace! ;-)
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I'd like to see the album have a mix of Space Cowboy, TWM, and Synkronized flavor each. Each of those albums had different things that made them great: Space Cowboy was more laid back and jazzy, TWM packed the mainstream wallop, and Synkronized had electronics that ENHANCED the music, not overpowering it like it did on AFO.
I also would like to see smaller cities get in on the act, but if they come to Providence, I wouldn't put them in our big arena. It's three decades old and it's a dump Only thing good is that you can get Dunkin' Donuts, cuz it's sponsored by them. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. ummm I think they have something special prepared for this album. J said is the best album of all (and like we already said he says that often) I think it could be a combination of both sounds, and maybe if they do it right, they could create a new sound.
But I definetely want the old sound, although what Matt said on the interview is absolutely right, about if you are going back you are not evolving, you are not progressing. But hey, the new album is coming... let's wait (what are 4 months comparing with the 3 years that passed??). |

More thoughts....
Hello, :bm_r:
Well, , I wouldn't want another one of the these new/old Jam sound mixture albums, Supersonic1, just to speak honestly. We have had 2 albums of this concoction gracing our ears for the last 6 years (From 99' Synkronized to 01' A Funk Odyssey), so I consider that the fans that crave that kind of Jamiroquai sound have had their fill. I'm not saying (what I've said nearly a million times) that the new sound is a bad thing, but for the fans who have more enjoyed the early Jamiroquai material what a return to that, back when Jamiroquai wrote songs about the state of the world and how to change it for the good, not just for clever hooks and electro loops. I don't really think there's a division of Jamiroquai fans, old versus new, but it must be confusing for JK and the band to decide which side to cater too for the next album. But they really appeased both sides in the last album, keeping that balance is a tough feat. Thanks for listening and please vote in my poll ! Peace!
Sincerely,

Well, something has moved although not sure what.
Check the latest news on frenchiroquai.
Raw translation would be:
Good day to all!
Ca there is, the plan marketing for the promotion of the next album has just begun!
First target, Japan, where one was able to see in the streets of Shibuya, THE connected place of Tokyo, posters where one can notice Jay alongside a certain black car to the devilish aspects. Thank Fab, aka Akira Shin, our special sent Frenchiroquai to Japan, that sent us these photos as soon as it took them to the peril of his life (you can notice that there is not the shadow of a Japanese on the photos, an exploit in this country!).
The first translation of Fab would indicate us therefore that it would be a matter of a means to win a telephone sonnerie portable, can be a named song "Check This Out". We launch therefore a call for a translator, so to know of what it some returns actually.
Enjoy, and come therefore some to debate on the topic!
It seems this commercial is not for album or single but for that gsm commerical he made. But, there is black devilish car on. And where tha hell is buffalo men? Red one is too small, Jay is too big. |

Hello Jamirotalkers,
Well, well... finally we are starting to see new stuff about Jamiroquai, even if it is an advertisement.
But I bet it will have something to do with the new single or the new album artwork, like we were discussing with Jamirofan.
Thanks to Frenchiroquai.
