What's your dream?
If you could have the perfect job, what would it be? If you had a million Euro/Dollars, what would you do with it? If you could learn something new, what would you choose?

We all have dreams. Would you like to share your dream with the Jamily? If so, would be nice to hear it! Smile

Very Happy

OK, I begin :

The perfect job: either an artistic job (actor, singer...), or Republic President, or chairman from a firm you founded 25 years ago...
With the million dollars: I put all in my bank and I live off my private income.
If I could learn something: all the languages existing in the world

If you could have the perfect job, what would it be?

Perfect job: Not a damn thing Smile
Seriously: Probably travel to different countries to help build sexual health/HIV-AIDS clinics, and be hired by some international concert promoter for me to travel the country at concerts and give out condoms/sexual health information to those attending!

If you had a million Euro/Dollars, what would you do with it?

Ummm...Pay off all my freakin' debt and bills - and if there is anything left after that - help my family, build a dance clinic/dance company for those with HIV/AIDS. Hire Jamiroquai, Jamie Lidell, Jamie Cullum, The Roots, and Fiona Apple to play a private party at Claudia's house and invite everyone here - with proceeds going towards helping people get their lives back together. Invest in education in the inner city also. And travel the world...damn, that million would be gone quick!

If you could learn something new, what would you choose?

I would learn Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portugese fluently....oh and play the piano with my feet (first I have to learn with my hands I guess).

The perfect job: Song writer/music producer.

With the million Euros: I would take my family and relocate to a warmer country, spend up to €300.000 on a house, use €100.000 to set up a studio and buy more gear than I have now, use €100.000 to buy stocks in Apple and the entertainment industry... perhaps porn (hey, it's profitable and I want to make money, lol), put the remaining €500.000 in a bank and touch nothing but 90% of the annual interest (unless cash is needed for something important and unexpected) until I start making money off my music. My aim would be to leave a substantial heritage to my daughters rather than to live a life in excess. But I wouldn't mind a posh house, an impressive studio, a nice car or two and a boat suitable for scuba diving and big game fishing trips as well as the occasional party at sea. Wink

If I could learn something: Alchemy (a chemical process that would turn base metals into gold). Laughing

P.S. If I ever became a rich man I'd make sure to send money to charity as well. I mean, people like Hollywood actors who earn silly money on their movies really can make a difference... I mean what is $1.000.000 for someone who will get 100 times as much for one movie? The money spent on cocaine alone would help the less fortunate a lot... a lot.

Love reading these! Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy So nice to see that all of you would help other people with stuff, whether it be family, friends or strangers Very Happy

Ok, I have 3 dream jobs: They are (in order): A mother; a stage actress/singer (West End musicals); Interior Decorator

Money: Apart from investing, I would ensure that my family would be finanically secure, take my friends on a wicked holiday, and would also give a generous amount to children's orphanages. Also would buy myself an English country cottage Very Happy

If I could learn something, it would be to be more tolerant. Otherwise I would love to learn to play the piano (properly - not with just two fingers! Laughing ), the harmonica and also to learn to speak Italian Very Happy

Actually, a million isn't enough is it? Rolling Eyes Laughing

My turn...

If you could have the perfect job, what would it be?

I'm currently pursuing a career in Music Journalism. It's the job I have always dreamed of and, through sheer drive and determination (and a little help from my friends), I am very close to realising it.

If you had a million Pounds, what would you do with it?

First and foremost, I would give a little something to those less fortunate than myself. I would invest the remainder of the money in a high-interest savings account and continue to earn a living as a Music Journalist. However, I would take some time out to visit my fellow Jamily members in their home countries. Wink

If you could learn something new, what would you choose?

I'd love to be multi-lingual, but I'd also like to be able to play a variety of instruments. The problem I have right now is time, or lack of it!

It's fascinating to read everyone's thoughts...

Good job, Anna!

If you could have the perfect job, what would it be?

Working in a computer store! Selling parts, constructing and giving support about computers! i don't want to have all the money of Bill Gates...

If you had a million Euro/Dollars, what would you do with it?

i'll give 50% of it to charity, with the other part i'll buy myself a nice apartment and a car... then some clothes... hehe... yay! i'm just a simple man...

If you could learn something new, what would you choose?

playing bass! (and that's something i'll do one day in this life!)
