Another Playstation2-Game with Jamiroquai
After the Playstation2-Game Eyetoy:Groove where you could dance to Jamiroquai's Deeper Underground another Playstation2-Game has been announced that's going to feature Jamiroquai.
Once again it's Deeper Underground that will be part of a Playstation2-Game. But instead of dancing the night away in front of your TV, recorded by a camera, this time you will be able to sing along the song.
SingStar is a Playstation2-Game that is pure karaoke-fun. The game will come with two microphones and an USB-Kit to connect them with your PS2.
As there will be different versions of the game in europe, I am not sure if Deeper Underground will be every version, but it will be in the german version. Here's the entire tracklist for the german version of the game (haven't been able to find another tracklist on the net yet, but will keep you updated)

WOW! Great news, thanks for sharing that Bear, nice to hear from you, been a while eh? Well, that will be something really worth getting for my PS2, I'm probably the only person who feels awkward trying out the EyeToy. I mean, you stand there, in front of the PS2, moving around like a monkey on crack at that darn EyeToy, I feel like I'm giving my PS2 a exotic performance or something  Ha Ha Ha ! Oh well, I know the karaoke game will rule, I've been working on my vocals while driving around in the car. Thanks again for the news and take care  ! Peace!

well, i'm reading here quite often but don't seem to find the time to post much 
eyetoy:groove and eyetoy:play are fantastic games - in multiplayer-mode. i agree with you that it actually feels quite stupid to jump around your tv on your own to beat up monkey, spin plates or even dance to deeper underground (which is one of the most difficult songs in eyetoy:groove to be honest)
but invite a couple of friends and i promise you, you'll have a fantastic time! :)
SingStar also supports the eyetoy-camera, but other than the eyetoy-games, it's not NEEDED to play it as the cam doesn't act as the controller for SingStar.
According to the demo-video i've seen, you can watch the video of the song in the background while singing, but with the eyetoy-camera you can watch yourself instead. SingStar will also support recording of the videosignal and posting it on the internet for others to see. :D
unfortunalty, the HDD for the PS2 hasn't been announced in europe (no FFXI for me    ) yet and the playstation2-network in europe just plain sucks. so the last feature will most likely be reserved for us- and jp-players..

hmmm, bad news for non-german-ps2-singers...
as it seems, jamiroquai will exclusivly appear in the german release of the game...

   <--Pretty much describes my feelings about it not being with the U.S. version of it. Oh well, Enjoy it Bear and all German fans . I know they will put some Jamiroquai somewhere on a soon to come EyeToy for the U.S. Fans! Thanks for the update Bear and Peace!

thanks for the news Stephan. In France we shouldn't have Deeper Underground.
the concept is quite interesting, but video games are so cheep so actually I don't know if I'll be ready to buy throught Amazon.de a 70 € video games (perhaps more because of the USB microphone !) |

if you want to buy the german version of the game, i would recommend to wait until it appears on ebay. this way you can probably save up to 20 €. and 50 € are the common price for ps2-games here in germany.
also if you're interessted, i can give you a couple of links to webstores here in germany, which are normally alot cheaper than amazon...

It's Very good news!
When the game came to street , i try to buy the german version.If the game came with the  microphone maybe the game will be about the 70Euros , like here in portugal , the Eye toy with camera!
I can't wait anymore to envite my friends and SING alot
